Jacob054
What would be the best way to stain those white? Any products recommended?
Jacob054
Just bought one of them, size 10. We'll see how they work! Just need to find some paint now...
Madmartigan
Get some Meltonian Nu-Life leather preparer (acetone based) to strip any finish off and the hit it with several coats of Meltonian Nu-Life white color spray. Make sure and tape off the edge of the sole first!!
Stormy320
Why would TK boots be better than these? Those look pretty good to me!
tkrestonva[TK]
I love my TKBoots, but I tend to agree. If you're going to put in the work anyway, just stick with the jodhupers. Black jodhpurs that have been painted white are screen-accurate, albeit they also require more maintenance. If TKBoots have an advantage, it's ease of maintenance - no need for regular touch-ups. Striker
Why would TK boots be better than these? Those look pretty good to me! Just noticed Pasadena I went to PCC for a little while. Nice find guys, I hope the paint works out for you Jake Edited July 6, 2011 by Striker
Stormy320
Why can't you just spray paint these? Seriously
TrooperTim
Spray paint has no flex so they will crack. I've also had a problem with it never fully drying. It just doesn't work.
geordietrooper
you would need to use a leather shoe dye like ( Magix Shoe Spray Leather Dye ) otherwise like tim said they will crack Why can't you just spray paint these? Seriously
TK bondservnt[501st]
I always use ANGELUS leather paints. and acrylic finisher. --------- no stripping required. just paint and then seal with angelus finisher. Stormy320
I think I'm going to give these a try too. Thanks guys!
Jacob054
Careful guys, just an FYI. I bought the one from that link and they're a size 10 in womens. I'm gona have to send them back. They seem like a great boot, but no where did it specify whether it was mens or womens. Guess I should have asked first, haha. Just wanted to let any of you know in case you were considering getting a pair too.
Locitus[Admin]
Are you sure? I know they don't say it's womens sizes, but they do say they run small and that you should order one size larger.
Jacob054
Are you sure? I know they don't say it's womens sizes, but they do say they run small and that you should order one size larger. Unfortunately, I couldn't be more sure. It says "Womens 10" on the side of the box it it came in.

Locitus[Admin]
The box mine came in just says size 9. And they fit me like a size 9 male should. Not too small at all.
Jacob054
Good to hear Locitus. But the link above is for 10s and when I ordered from that link, they sent me womens 10s. I think they probably just forgot to label it as a womens version.
TD-4189[501st]
I found some on amazon that look good. ---------- Has more size options than the one listed by OP. bobojuice
Looks good. Not sure about the quality on these things, but for 30 bucks it's not a bad deal at all.
