I was lazy and did a variation on 1 - 2 - 3.

Nope. Got a used VIO POV 1 for a good price back in 2010. It's a wired mess and clumsy as hell, but it does what I want it to do. I velcro the bullet camera to the interior right side of my helmet (as seen below in the image) and the recording unit hangs from my neck. The remote control REC/STOP is velcro attached inside my drop box. I don't record footage much. The occasional parade.

Joined: January 2010 Event Total (approx): 182 The following is my 501st event log. FISD’s Field Training section is sort of similar to what Star Garrison does on our forum. There’s a section where my garrison mates can document all of their events. I figured I’ll share my 501st journey with FISD too. I’ve also worn my TK out to additional places not listed/represented here, just for fun. I’ll update this thread periodically. I've done the spectrum of events from visiting Children's Hospitals, Make-A-Wish events, Libraries, cancer (& other ailment) walks, on stage with Weird Al 3 times, TV news shows, attended Star Wars Authors/Actors signings, witnessed Star Garrison induct Honorary 501st Membership to those influential to the Star Wars franchise; and lots of armor parties, parades, and conventions. It's been a fun experience so far.

Hardware and craft stores will have everything you need to build armor. I became a friendly face at my local stores during my builds. I love down the road in Allen. A lot of troopers in this area. If you haven't, get in touch with "other Tim" here on FISD (Dark CMF). He can keep you in the loop with upcoming armor parties and such. Many NTX and 501st will be out at Dallas Comic Con end of May. It's one way to meet a lot of us in one location.

All-Con was this past March 13-16 in Addison, TX. Every year this is Star's official garrison reunion. We had an incredible turnout this year in part because 501st members Josh Powers (BH-15173) and Niki Moffre (BH-14019) held their wedding at the con Saturday morning. Legion members traveling all over from TX, OK, LA, AR, and KS made it during the weekend. After the wedding we took our yearly group photos. The Legion's own FANGS, Angela Mash, joined us for the festivities as well. Thanks for having fun with us!
