TX not CANON? Wait a minute we have our own detachment forums 501st Special Ops Detachment I started out first as a TX and still am. If the public start reciting the "Aren't you short for a stormtrooper" line (which they ALWAYS do) I say I'm not a stormtrooper, am a BLACKHOLE Stormtrooper One benefit of being a short TK/TX is that most of the time you'll be asked to be next to Darth Vader (if one is present) to make him look bigger
Soon leader I've been anxiously awaiting my upcoming armor project which is an animated clone trooper set of armor. I just got word a couple hours ago that it has finally been shipped. I should get it within the next week. I'll post of pics of my progress but most of the build will be on the clonetroopers.net forums.
get contacts. I'm able to wear glasses in my CAP-W helmet. Foam padding placed at the brow area does help to push you head back a little to make room for glasses. Troopers with larger craniums unfortunately have less options when it comes to accurate helmets.
maker of things
That maker of "things" has already been discussed numerous times on this forum. Please take a look around at the previous posts. Take your time to learn about the different armor makers. This hobby by all means is not one to rush into. As much we'd love to have you join our ranks we want you to purchase a quality set of armor.
The search buttons works, I swear by it
You won't have a problem with getting into the 501st. The 501st's standards are less than that of the FISD's EIB programs standards. 501st doesn't require rivets for a TK suit. The regular rivets you find at the hardware store will not crack armor. ABS and HIPS made armor will accept rivets.
Looks like an ESB blaster to me. Yeah, that holster is missing a chunk in the middle. I wonder if the person who did that with the intention of placing the holster on the right and also putting the blaster in so that the handle faces back.
I was hoping you would chime it Eric. I remember seeing your build posts and thinking if you were of similar build to our friend in need here. It can be done.
