  1. A) Where is said picture? This is not a for sale/trade thread, so it's being moved to NCO Club.
  2. I use Meguire's spray wax for my armor when I clean it. Shines up nice. Turtle Wax's spray wax works just as well.
  3. Well, what he lacks in grammar, he at leasts makes up with decent customer service.
  4. When sanding, use a really high grit paper. Wet sand if possible.
  5. Kylon Fusion I hear works pretty well.
  6. ABS white can actually be different shades; i.e.: one armor maker can make his armor is ABS white as well as another. You then mix and match parts, you could have a suit that doesn't quite match completely (seen this happen a couple times). You may have to try several options.
  7. And compress the family jewels in a way that can't be healthy.
  8. I like this, but it's pretty long. I hate the term "deployed" by itself as it's so generic. Veteran... well let's just say TK's don't exactly have a reputation to be much in the way of survivors...
  9. Dag, that was a quick year. Big ups to FISD!
  10. The SE-14R is (sadly) considered an EU piece as it does not actually appear in the films in the hands of a TK, despite it showing up in countless promotional materials and being shown on many other things (posters, products, etc). It's a shame as I love my SE-14R!
  11. You've done a great job, Paul. As the founding detachment leader, you'll always have a special place here! It's been a pleasure in serving as your S@A and I competely respect your decision. I have the utmost confidence in Ed and his abilities to run FISD.
  12. If you're talking about the little black one, those aren't made anymore. I hear the Newton amps are pretty nice, though.
  13. That's a hell of a story! Sorry for the trouble, hope you get everything sorted for any future visits.
  14. I know some guys who use "For Sale" signs inside out as shims.
  15. Haven't watched them yet, but what a great idea! Kudos!
  16. Huh... I didn't think you were going.
  17. I'm sure Wyatt will post in the For Sale/Trade forum if/when he does another run. Keep an eye out for it.
  18. You do not get the hanger, the poll it's hanging on, or the wall behind it. You will have to provide your own.
  19. Not the place for a sales pitch, triktoys.
  20. I'm really hoping it works out. We need all the help we can get trooping to go the extra mile.
  21. So a buddy of mine has become an authorize dealer for Phiten products. If you're not aware of their products, they make products using "aqua-titanium," which tend to help with fatigue and many other things. I have no idea how this stuff works, but for some reason it does. I've been using a Phiten necklace for 2 years now and it totally helps with fatique and has helped with chronic headaches I get. The only time I take it off is when I shower. Anyway, my buddy told me the have moisture wicking compression gear. He's hooking me up with a top and leggings to try out. I'm thinking if this stuff works half as well as the necklaces do, this stuff could be a blessing for troopers! I'm gonna try it our and give it a couple good troops before I give it my blessing. The retail on the stuff is not cheap, but since I've known the guy for years and he's been a big local supported of the 501st, I'm sure he could give us discounts if we ordered in bulk. Stay tuned! I can't want to try this stuff out!
  22. I feel old... I almost said, "remember when arcade games were just $0.25?"
  23. Republic Commando was definately one of the best SW FPS that was not part of the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series, and it used the UT engine, which I'm still a big fan of for how great it was at the time. And for the record, SW: Lethal Alliance for the PSP is a steaming pile of repetative poodoo. I thought, "hey, scantily clad twi'lek doing Prince of Persia style moves, it had to rock." Man, was I sooo wrong.
