  1. I haven't seen a proper holster for these as of yet. I've seen references of the SE-14R with the trooper wearing what appears to be the E-11 holster, but since the photo's from the right side of the trooper, I can't tell if it is one for sure (or if there's an E-11 in the holter).
  2. I got more info from Shawn who makes an awesome kit for this blaster. See more info over here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php...entry6805
  3. I usually use lighter fluid, the kind for a Zippo, and it takes it off well. I've not had a problem with a loss of shine or anything.
  4. Eww. No. Never. To my knowledge, no one who did the Rose Parafe even did that. We peed before or after.
  5. John, see this post for more info on the helmet and it's origins: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=502
  6. Well, Royal Guards tend to be pretty silent.
  7. One of the earliest posts made on this board: -----
  8. That's one thing I've been weighing in my new helmet decision... One thing I suck as is painting and having to do so to get it to match my armor just seems excessive. I've checked the price on these, and for that amount, I would think these would be pulled without having to do much painting. I'm not trying to take away from this helmet at all. It is an amazing fan sculpt and looks great when done right.
  9. Uh huh... don't mention it.
  10. Don't click on the icon, click on the text for the forum.
  11. The new layout is a bit disorientating, but I'll manage. I hate change, but thanks for all the great work you do, Greg.
  12. Happy belated, brother! Hope it was one for the books!
  13. From what I know/recall from friends who use these: - I don't believe it lowers your voice as much as it adds a sound filter over it. - The static burst can be triggered a couple different ways, from what I remember it can be timed (how long to click after speech) or done with a switch. - You will need a separate voice amp. That's all I know from my friends that use them. I personally don't really dig them.
  14. I think they're currently, as per usual, back ordered.
  15. That's 100% correct, hence my suprise that he actually did it. This was something that was discussed amongst the command staff and we found that keeping standard naming conventions would be the best and fairest way to go. If that means giving up my name, I'll... I'll let it go.
  16. Sweet! Best detachment leader ever!
  17. Mine doesn't adequately embody me. Can you get it to say "super awesome?"
  18. Stay on target, troopers.
  19. You're not Scott! I know Scott. Scott is a friend of mine. And you sir, are no Scott.
  20. John, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this tough time. Hang in there, brother. If there's anything we can do, please let us know.
  21. Hey guys and gals, troopers and aspiring troopers alike: The 10th Anniversary of the 501st Legion celebration has begun, with a contest for non-members. Head over to http://www.501st.com/10thanniversary.php and check it out. Make sure to tell your friends, they can win some really cool swag! In 2007, the 501st Legion is celebrating ten years of bringing order to the galaxy. From one man's dream to a bona fide international Legion of thousands, the men and women of the Fighting 501st proudly continue their mission to "celebrate the Star Wars movies through the wearing of costumes, to promote the quality and improvement of costumes and props, and most importantly to contribute to the local community through charity and volunteer work..." We would be honored if you would join us...
  22. There was a guy who made larger arnor who went by TK BIG. He did great work, a friend of mine has some of his armor. Unfortunately his molds got destroyed (not sure exactly how) and he's not made new ones.
  23. I wouldn't quite say "lanky" (though it helps in the flexibity while in armor), but much more fit than the average adult SW "enthusiast" (geek) is. Tall guys have it bad, shorter guys have it bad, "robust" and huge melon having troopers like myself don't have it easy either. It's about doing the best with what you're delt with.
  24. There's just more of us to love... and crush rebels with!
  25. I was actually thinking that as well, but I like the look of the Hengstler. I suppose this can be put up for debate.
