  1. thanks for the advise i'll add abit next time i'll do a fitting, i was gonna ad a snap on the right hand side but velcro seems to be a lot less fussy and less chance of ballsing it up
  2. had a few hours spare so decided to do a few bits like straps and so on and finally attach my holster to the belt (from behind elite stylie) all goo so far........... but when you holster the E-11 the belt tips to the left has anyone come up with a soultion to stop this happening ?? Or is it a csae of addin a snap to the right to hold the belt up in place. Or should a TK NEVER holster their E-11
  3. agree fully with you about rom fx being far to expensive for what it offers. i think that the trik toys version doesn't have a static burst function in the kit i thinkit needs to be bought as a seprate board. but i would like some reviews on ppl think or if they have somthing differnt they can sugeust. if not i think depending on money i'll have to get either the------set and then buy the-------module seperate. or buy the ------ unit and then buy the static burst separate. but if trik toys are bringing out a new version i may wait n see.
  4. over the last few days i've been looking @ voice amps / changers, but still undecided which one is better of for me. I know that every one goes on about the rom fx set but every time i look @ there webby there either a long list of orders in front or there just always outta stock i.e: waiting for boards. I like the look of the trik toys set up up for $119.00 / £60 think it covers everything that i need, but dont get no responce from seller would like to know if it has auto staic burst instead of blowing into the mic. Then on the other hand you have the skull works set up which looks real sweet nice set up including fan's and also using the trik toys set up but i think its the cheeper one??? but cant say for sure untill i can find out more info from them. so........... at the mo, got a bit of doe sitting in the ole pay pal account ready to be spent on a set up so any advice would be greatfull xspecailly if eric(trik toys as i know hes on the fourms) wants to or any other of the makers wanna help me decide. btw i need a full set up mic, amp, speakers, u know the works. As i dunno what i need for my first set up.
  5. ok i glued the fronts yesterday so hopfully may finish them of today but they just lokk so bad flat at the front instead of being a smooth round effect is it worth try to round then off with a heat gun / hairdryer for a better look (yes its an fx kit)
  6. thanks for the advise i'll give it a go and let you know how it went. i was ganna add extra snap to the bridges or in side the chest plate but crossing the straps seams to be a less fussy way of solving this problem
  7. heres a quick pic of my uper armour test fitting . found a few problems with it thoe, the straps which are conected to the ab and back plate seem to slide of my shoulders any cure for this?? still need to add the under strap from the cod to the tail and on the side to pull the armour in. but apart from the seem to fit ok. been quite busy today also mananged to glue both fronts of the thight pieces hope should all be done within a week or 2. i velcroed the back side of the biceps but defeently thinking about gluing them now any way heres a pic. Also cod and butt plate have been cut.
  8. nice set of pics, but i must ask what was you doing in the woods of endor ????? p.s in the second pic it looks like your whle chest plate it trying to eat your head maybe you can try pinning it down some how.
  9. i need some help trying to sort my thigh parts, to me they just dont look right, do i glue the fronts and velcro the back or glue both?? cut to my size or just pad em out with foam blocks?? think i need some sortta help as every time i look at them i fill with confusion and dread. They the only real piece's i have left to do now as every thing else has been completed apart from some webbing and snaps . Advanced thanx
  10. lol lol yeah he does look like a flasher, i might have to order him some under armour would put mine on him to keep him warm but he'll end up streching it.
  11. i started it roughly this time last year, then sortta lost intreast a bit cause i wasn't making much progress , re-broke it back out of the box yest and so far done the "new ab mod " and just finished cutting the butt plate into 2 just trying to find out how ppl have reassemble the . think most have used Mr Velcro. if im wrong let me know....
  12. yeah i know bout the sandies and pauldrons but went bit mad when i ordered armour, but hay may get a bit dirty with a new ab plate and knee plate
