Hi everyone, I thought I would start a fun topic for Friday and for the weekend. What is everyone doing for the weekend? Anything fun or exciting going on? Anyone Trooping? I am leaving my current job today for a promotion at another state agency. So today is my last day here. I am pretty excited about it and I have a three-day weekend, I took Monday off. I have a hospital troop this Saturday and there is a Star Wars baseball event that evening as well. The rest of the weekend is just going to be relaxing and maybe finishing the clone if I can. Any who what is everyone else up to this weekend?

Nice lid and yes all screen accurate lids are asymmetrical.

It’s going to require a lot of work to make it up to 501st standards. That being said if you are up to the task, we are all here to help you with it. If you do keep it you should go with a ROTJ trooper since the armor is closest to that style. You are going to have to ditch the helmet, but can probably can sell it on eBay and use the money from that to get a different helmet. You are going to have to do a lot of trimming to fit the armor to your body as well as implementing a new strapping system.

Shelley, I'm thinking the same thing Smitty is. It sounds like you might have held the can too close. I would wait the full week before sanding or you might run into more trouble. Post some pics of it we'll help you get it worked out.

I hope a lot of potential troopers see this before buying anything. We had one trooper try to join my garrison with a rubies suit about 6 months ago and I have not heard from him since. I think he was scared of all the mods and extra cash that were required for this suit to meet 501st standards. I feel bad for the guy but we have standards for a reason.
