  1. Thanks for your reply gents,Thank you for not looking at my post as a dig and to give me a clear and informative answer.I as many others who would like to strive for a complete and elite standard kit look at the passed troopers along with the standards list. It gets a little confusing when there are grey areas from one submition to another.Just an idea would be to have in the list an example of how the photos should be presented so nothing is mist on your approvals.thanks guys and nice one terry on your kit, looks great.
  2. how come there seems to be no Consistency in this elite status.I have looked closely at alot of guys requests. Some are granted as soon as pictures are submited others are required to have every little detail right.just dosnt figure in my eyes. Nothing was said about this guys D ring not even a close up of hes blaster was required.
  3. I no way imply you to cut the back of your leg armour with a CHAIN SAW as the picture shows but you get the idea of the extra room given by that fix without spoiling the overall shape.I am going to use the same fix as im a short a very impolite person
  4. here is how they did it in the film for comfort.
  5. Trooper master does make hes armour from scratch in hes basement from years of hard work and photo ref!having stuff handed to you on a plate is nice but putting in the hours is far more of a personal Journey and a 1000% more satisfying .
  6. WOW ace work there Graham,i forgot about this build of yours sorry mate.I must say now you have switched to plastic weld for your joins you will move along at a nice trot (Its good stuff isnt it?) If you get any were is not wanted, and as its like water you may.use some wet and dry very fine grade paper on the burnt area .then with some novus plastic polish buff it.you will find that the error was never there. Anyway best of luck in your remaining build ,looking good. OHH move your drop boxes up so they almost touch your belt and as Alain said WHITE Elastic.
  7. That is one sharp looking lid,you could almost cut yourself on those edges.very nice i bet your well happy with it.
  8. I would use the same method as the TE2 build ,Use the post 31. TE2 build I think this tutorial is one of the most helpful i have seen ever.
  9. i notice you have one of them tax charge tickets on your box mate "ouch".I to got a little christmas gift to myself from Burnard and had to pay that charge. I think any further USA to UK items im having the cost of item marked down to save a few trooper tokens.
  10. Thanks for putting the link up paul.I was going to add a few more pictures to show the angles of attack. Guys i must stress try it on some scrap first to get your hand in,and DO use the cloth over the iron !IF YOU DO NOT it will melt burn and stick to your ABS.
  11. Though this almost made me cry,i did a little render in photoshop to show what we could be seeing in the near future. Its not great coz i just didnt want to spend any time on this, but had to see how it looked. -----------
  12. fantastic tip on the car auto strips.hats off for this public display of your build. Thanks mate.
  13. Nice one Adrian, glad to see all is working out for you.you cant keep a trooper down mate.Im looking to grab one of the new ATI 3800 cards to show HD DVDs etc. They seem to be at a good price for a top end card.makes a change!i know its a little early but sounds like you are set for a great 2008.
  14. nice build and very clear pictures, this will spawn many a great TE2 stunt in the future.thanks for your time and info on this im sure to be well thumbed tutorial.
  15. If one of the ANH film heroes can get away without a counter then i say with or without should be fine.It should be up to the indivdual trooper to whether or not to put the counter onto hes or her blaster. Pictures borrowed from a thread over on the MEPD. And to give balance to this. case closed melud lol.
  16. stormtrooper repair kit, every ABS clad trooper should have.....NOVUS
  17. I got some aluminium strip 20mm in width bent and shaped it for a good look and fit to my canvas belt.I found that it marked my armour rubbing the back plate so i put some white velco loop on to stop that .worked out real well.
  18. 2.5 feet would cover one lid mega price for the correct trim 10 feet for me. UK based.
  19. all i did was head over to eBay and picked up a brand new pair of black boots for about fifteen squid ,then white dye that was it worked out great.I also have some trooper boots from ca boots and like my home done ones better. Leather-Jodhpur boots is all i typed in to the engine.
  20. here you go a link to the disney page scroll down to the troopers. disney trooper suit.
  21. NOOOOOOO dont get me wrong ,was not putting it down .just look at the prositive posts you have on the look ,you have put the parts together well on a difficult material to deal with.what i have noticed is that the elastic that binds the shoulder bells round the biseps would look better black as screen used.
  22. No i think you will find this armour on eBay,its a fibreglass FX recast.correct me if im wrong?mrfurious

What about doing the photos in a downloadable format like Adobe reader,One donation and you get the file sort of thing. Will save you alot of CD making time.
  24. I have Robs armour and am very happy also. The one thing i found is the overall size compared to the FX . --------------
  25. i was just going to post the TM has made no quote in saying anything about hes armour infact this thread is the most he has ever said about it.There has been no post ever other than hats off for hes time and effort in making the best fan made suit out there. I might add that its the two guys from across the pond that make claim and counter claims about there molds and suits, but saying that again this is the first time i have seen there work.GINO thanks for posting pics of your stuff, they look good in pictures. Pictures is what almost all of us can go on in making our choice or opinion in screen acurate looking armour even the actual armour used in the films. It is the privelaged few that have seen, held or own it,but TM has to have a mark of 10-10 for hes replication of it. "Bottom of the barrel" you say i think you are way out on your own on that quote mister.
