  1. Welcome to the FISD Ken! Looks like you're in good hands already!
  2. Enjoy your new banner @Sawanator!!
  3. Hello and welcome to the forum Jason, glad to have you here! I really recommend reading the lists that Mario posted! You'll find the makers that you should avoid and the makers that give you your moneys worth! I guess it is the ANH Stunt that you are interested in getting? The toughest choice is usually to decice which one you want!

  5. Enjoy your new banner @TikiTechie! And congrats on the new fine suit of armor!
  6. Looks good!! Great work so far! One thing that helped me with my gap initially was making sure to tighten the belt! Have you tried that too?
  7. Hello and welcome to the forum Joseph!
  8. Wow! Welcome back Chris!
  9. Welcome, and congratulations on completing your Stormtrooper armor!! Good job!
  10. It could well be that the particular holster used in the promo shots had once housed an E-11? As you've discovered, we see many holsters with this particular size and style in ANH
  11. Hello and welcome to the FISD forum! Are you sure you don't want to build a Stormtrooper?
  12. Hello Josh and welcome to the forum! How far into the whole process have you come? Decided what maker you want to go with, or are you going to print one yourself?
  13. I got ahold of the file! You can download it here if you're interested! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u_wth6ped_-yPAbB77Bcm69MxmqWV2xv/view?usp=sharing
  14. Hello everyone! I just wanted to share this, at one of my troops recently I got 3D scanned, and I'm going to get a 3D printed copy of this very soon that I'm going to paint and have as a statue at home! If I get ahold of the file, maybe I could make it available to everyone if you want to print a screen accurate TK and have at home? Edit: File here Height of model: 180,79cm || 71,1771654 inches
  15. Welcome Matt!! Exciting times ahead!!
  16. Hello and welcome Marty! Building something from scratch might seem scary, I thought so too when I first were looking for a kit - but upon receiving my commissioned kit I still had to get my hands dirty to fix my armor up to Centurion and some things I had to do then made me wish that I had built it myself first hehe! But the confidence is something you build up! The FOTK is a little more complex than the ANH kit so combining that with your fear of building, a commissioned kit might be the way to go - as it was for me with my ANH kit! There still might be some things you'd need to do even if you're commissioning kit, so just make sure to be somewhat mentally prepared for that! Many use Denuo Novo for the FOTK so you're on the right track there! I'm sure our fellow troopers will fill in the details on that!
  17. Hello and welcome Adam! You're in the right place!
  18. I think it looks really good Logan!! Awesome! And congrats on the new apartment!
  19. Congratulations Greg!! Welcome to the FISD! Can't wait for those trooping pics!
  20. Congratulations TK 27259, welcome! Now that is one hell of a first troop as a TK, my oh my! Well done on the armor, it looks great!!!
  21. Congratulations TK 26053!!
  22. I myself went with a commissioned build from RS Prop Masters, where the process is that you purchase the TK version that you want, and then send in your measurements and they put it together for you! It took over 14 weeks for me to get my kit! I live in an apartment without a workshop so that is why I went the commissioned route! You have many vendors that produce armors that look very very good! What ever you do, check the vetted vendors list, and check back with us before you do your purchase in case it is one with a bad reputation!
