  1. Hello and welcome to the best forum in the world for all things Stormtroopers!
  2. TK-23592 & TK-24269
  3. Hello Alfredo! Stunning armor! Good luck with your application!!
  4. Hello Marek and welcome to the forum! I see you've requested 501st Stormtrooper access, that's good! We have one merch run open if you're into racing shirts! However, to be able to order, you will need to have your badge first!
  5. Yes you are correct! See you over there!
  6. It's really helpful to have one over here, since we are the home of all things Stormtroopers (most often called TKs here)! We have programs called "Expert Infantry" and "Centurion", which are aimed to make your armor look outstanding! The extra levels are not needed by any means, however when building the armor yourself, it is very easy to have the aim set for those levels right from the beginning, since what makes them hard to accomplish is often times having to remove things that are already glued on, only to apply them in the "correct" way (according to the extra levels)! Doing it from the beginning usually only costs a few more minutes of thinking, and will in the end make your armor look even more like the ones we see on screen!
  7. Hello John! Welcome to the FISD! Glad to have you! I'm really jealous of you being able to see STAR WARS in the cinema! Great to hear that you're building your armor! The first thing we'd recommend you to do is to start your own build thread! This is where you post images of your progress and ask questions that you may have, and our team of experts will guide you towards the best looking armor possible! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/ Here is a long list of useful information that mister @MaskedVengeance has compiled!
  8. Congratulations Centurion #531!!! Outstanding armor!
  9. Hello and welcome to the forum Dannon! Your height and weight is no problem for any TK! I'd even say that it is great! To fill out the armor you can use foam padding and it will look good when you move around, and you'll look more muscular just like they do in the movie! Hope that you find some people that can help you, if not your brothers! Do you know where to purchase the kit?
  10. I think that it would be very wise to take a look at the vendors list that I sent and at least write on here for feedback before you do any purchase! We all want you to have an armor that will live up to the 501st Legion standards, and withstand the test of trooping!
  11. Here is the list of vendors I was talking about! Here is a good source of information that you can read up on to get a feel for what to do next on your journey!
  12. Hello Maria and welcome to the FISD! You are in the right place for everything Stormtroopers! Thank you for sharing your story! I say let's make this happen shall we?! I'd say being a Stormtrooper is one of the best feelings for s Star Wars fan with a 20 year old wish! You don't need to be handy or a builder to build your own armor! Many people have done it by asking questions and posting images on cut lines here on the forum and achieved amazing results! There are vendors that offer commissioned kits where you just have to send in your measurements and the armor will usually be up to 501st Legion standards! All of the builders on our vetted vendors list are trusted and deliver great pieces of armor! What's your height?
  13. Great initiative and I'll make sure to submit something!
  14. Welcome to the FISD Luke! You're in the right place for all things Stormtroopers! (often called TK/TKs on here!) You have a fun journey ahead of you! Does the family member also want to get a costume?
  15. As for replacement batteries and just swapping it out that would be easy enough for me, I was always thinking that if I would do something it would be the mod so that you could charge it up again! (that's the one solution that seemed to hard for me)
  16. I've also had the ticking sound, but I think it was the battery for me too. I haven't been able to use mine since I'm no good with things like this so I just plug my mic directly into the other system that you have there in your helmet, and it still sounds good - just not with the voice changer at the end of every sentence!
  17. Hello Victor! Do you want to build it yourself from kit, or do you want to order a commission build? The list that @gmrhodes13 posted of different armors has all the information you need!
  18. We don't have as many ROs out there as I'd like! If you are excited about the thought, you should definitely entertain it!
  19. Hello Vic! Your Hovi-Mix files look great, and I can't wait to see what you conjure up next! Do you have any plans on joining the legion?
  20. I'm so happy for you! I still feel the same as when I started! I've never clung so hard to a hobby or community before, I'm here to stay! Can't see how my life would look like without it now that I have it! Crazy! Everyone on here becomes almost like an extended family, and it really shows when we go through tough times together, we are always there for each other! For the Empire!
  21. Congratulations on becoming a Stormtrooper Jason! How excited are you? When you say first, what other costumes do you have in mind?
  22. I think you should try my suggestions, there were some points that I think would make it a bit more like the original, like the black area on the left being smaller than the bottom spacing! (But that isn't the black leather pieces concern, only triangle related/red leather) As for the big black one that is underneath, I think you can go ahead, if it is anything like the old one! Is there anything you can think of regarding the fitment in the back? I haven't seen any images in this thread of the back from the old one!
