Hello Lauren and welcome to the FISD, you're in good hands here! Thank you for the great introduction! We have the Valkyrie's section here on the forum that will come in handy, where you can read a bunch about wearing and building a TK armor! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/255-vaders-valkyries-armor-open-discussion/

Hello Aa-ron and welcome to the FISD!

Hello and welcome Brian! You have an exciting journey ahead of you! The shock trooper sure looks awesome so I really understand the pull towards that one! Are you 50/50 on which one you want or do you have anything that weighs heavier on the other? Anything we could help you out with?

I wrap my E-11 in bubble wrap and put it in the bottom of my suitcase, with the magazine sticking out underneith the armor!

Welcome!

I don't think that the hose was attached at all to the helmet on the live action. It looks like it is attached to the chest - and I think it should be possible to have it attached to either the chest or the helmet, since we don't know a lot for sure about how it was attached other than some toys and the BTS photos from ANH. In the BTS photos from ANH I think it looks like they have just used a lot of silver duct tape, but that is not necessarily something I plan on doing I'm adding this to the original discussion as well

Sent you a PM with some information on the process and my personal experience, hopefully it can help you on your journey!

Hello Daz! Hopefullty it works out! You can always try and mess around with the height of the shins and where you have your thighs positioned! I'm positive that you can find a middle ground where it still looks good! How much taller are you than the other trooper? -
Hello and welcome to the FISD! Any and all questions that you have, we are here for you! Glad to have you!

I also agree on using vinyl! Since it is smacked on by the animation studio with color textures, a sticker is like the real world version of that, except from painting it straight on ofc!

Super excited to see this build! And to get to troop with it some day! Keep up the good work Daniel!

That is great to hear Dale! Praise the Lord Vader!! Glad to have you here, and I am so happy for you that this all worked out in the end! What a nightmare reading all those reviews after spending that much money! -
When I think about it, the fact that they knew they had many series in the works (when creating RO), I could understand that they might need something new they can throw themselves around in - and they could produce a new armor with toys in mind at the same time (I guess?). I like the look of the helmet by itself, and I'm not dying for the armor, but in the context of the movie timelines I align with Glen! I'm not sure that the boots of the ROTK are easier to put on than the OTTK boots, they just slip on and it seems with the taller boots they would be a little more chunky? I have no clue really just that I have no issues putting on my OTTK shoes Just to drop my favorite TK, it would have to be the ANH Hero, it is currently tied with the ROTK on accessories with 6 each, but will soon overtake it when the space pack comes to the Hero as well!

Hello Dale! @Coil in my Garrison is 190cm tall, so say 6'2 or 6'3 and he bought a TM kit and got the XL shins that he offers! You see him furthest to the left! I don't think you'll have any issues being on the taller side!

Since it is lit up from the inside it is quite hard to tell exactly! I'd take new pictures in normal lighting, and step away from the helmet with the camera and zoom in to take the picture, some of these images on the helmet seem to be a little warped and can make things look like something they are not!

Hello Sean! You are in good hands here at the FISD!

Glad to have you here Kyra! What a joy of having a GML with you for the build! I'm sure that all the knowledge is up to date, but just in case wouldn't it be nice to have a build thread started? It is not a must but when building a kit yourself, it is so much easier to do Expert Infantry'/Centurion things straight from the start! Your armor will look mint either way though I'm sure of it

My signature says "Please misunderstand me correctly", so I think we're good! But yes it is always a sensitive territory to joke around with, but we're all friends here!
