  1. Are these links ok for you? -----------
  2. Nice one Terry, well done mate
  3. Looking much better all ready, keep up the good work.
  4. Nice work on the lids
  5. You look like a small guy to be wearing fx armour, its almost drowning you there!! But with a bit of work you can make it work. Some pointers for you; Start with the ab plate and butt and kidney plates. Get the ab plate low as you can with out it hanging around your knees. Lower the butt plate alot, until it really covers your butt. I would trim some off the top of the kidney part so the upper back plate does not cover so much. Then try to get the chest and upper back plate as high as you can so that it is comfi and not cutting into your neck. Seriously think about trimming the bottom of the chest plate to show more details and the ab buttons. The legs look good to go, there are in the right place and if anything maybe bring the thighs in a little so they dont look so much like board shorts, but they look good as they are. The arms may need trimming in length, and either pad the biceps with foam or i would trim them to slim them down a bit. Can you put on your lid on in armour? If not trim some off the forearm so you can. No more though. And i know you dont have the shoulder bells on there but if your using the fx ones i would expect you may need to trim about an inch off the bottom so they dont cover all your bicep armour. Do all that and report back for duty
  6. Loving the armour pics J, very nice! And i love the graple hook and com link its just a shame you dont have the full hero style lid to go with it. Im just nit-picking now but i would have liked to see nickle coloured rivets or snaps on the canvas belt for the holster instead of brass for ultra accuracy. Nice job well done though mate, very nice
  7. It should be ok as long as you prep the surface and follow the instructions. i know a lot of people here in the uk swear by Halfolds appliance white in the can.
  8. You need 6 on your left hand side of the body, 2 will be covered by the belt and 1 big rivet or i think it looks like a camping snap on the right side of the body at the very top
  9. Awsome lids Scott, thanks for sharing
  10. If you can lid and de lid thats enough, i would leave them as they are
  11. Humbrol #21 gloss black for me.
  12. Im going to have to admit that im not sure that you are even talking about something seen in starwars...
  13. Both silk and rubber glover were used in esb so its your choice...
  14. Ok ive been rather hungry today so i have had; Bacon and egg sandwich for breaky, cream cake for tea brake, tuna salad sandwich on brown with another cream cake and salt and vingar crisps for lunch and i am just having a few beers to wash down the keebab and garlic bread.. Diet start tomoro
  15. I thought from your first post back in feb you had already cut your te2 to pieces and started reworking the details. Why anyone would want to buy a te2 and then take it to bits and try to make it a sanitised and mirrored lid is beyond me.. its like trying to change a moto gp racer change jobs to become a bus driver?
  16. Nice work just a bit of fine tuning and your all done. I would suggest the following; Raise the shoulder bells, lower the biceps, change the drop box material to white and see if you can lower the butt plate. Get your holster and blaster sorted and then apply for elite status
  17. *Edited by Army Scout* Keep it clean and polite! Army Scout
  18. Thanks Jez And i have actually removed the ears on this lid now as its just for display so that it look more like the screen used helmet ps pictures taken using my mobile so they are a bit on the small side and ive chiped the paint more... Courtesy of Jez
  19. I would say the AP is a bit smaller although how its put together has a part to play in this and the AP is more cleaned up and idealised where the TE2 is accurate to a screen used lid.
  20. Here is a pic of a real hovi and Keith's reproduction version for you to peruse
  21. And for those to lazy to clink on the link here is a quick shot
  22. Those prices look a little out of date to me afaik
  23. Its held by the screws and rivets at the ears only and by i screw and rivet at the bottom of the ear piece. Take your time and look through the forums here there are plenty of helmet tutorial and build threads
  24. All the trooper costumes from anh were reused for esb no new armour was made so at a guess i would say they are double sided also.
