  1. I can see from the pics that you are taller than the average trooper and i think you did well to spread out the armour and the black gaps are not soo bad. I cant see from the pics have you split the butt and lower back? that will need to be seen for elite
  2. If its a straight line i score and snap, but for all the curved and trickey parts i use these sissors. Best tool for trooper armour ever!
  3. Is this another competition? lol.. whats the prize? Sometimes the humbrol grey can be a little watery, so you may need a couple of coats. I sometimes find that on unpainted abs helmets they need 2 coats maybe more and painted helmets need only 1 coat.
  4. Yes you can use polish to keep your armour nice and clean. I personally dont bother as i like the used scuffed look. I have only polished my armour once in over 2 years and after i did it i wished i had'nt....
  5. So is this a clearable 501st costume now as i want to do this to my fx
  6. I was banned from gino's site after telling him politely here to foxtrot oscar.
  7. And your holster is very nice Steve
  8. Well done mate at getting elite, nice armour
  9. Paul to me this looks like RT Mod armour, no? Am i right Nick?
  10. It just hangs on the loops for esb the picture above shows the holster being pinched which alters that shape. ESB holster same shape as ANH only on right hip instead of left and full loops over belt.
  11. Looks excellant, everything is covered. I see no probs at all, well done mate. the ukg elite ranks are growing nicely.
  12. You can try adding some velcro or snaps to your ab plate and belt to make it stay, i have never had this problem myself.. or screw through everything again like you did before, that is how my AP suit was set up.
  13. Awesome attention to detail here keith, very well done. It look so convincing you could almost pass this off as an original
  14. Do you want to troop in this? I think you could try the old tee shirt trick, covered in super glue. When dried it goes rock hard.
  15. I think apart from the upsidedown biceps that looks pretty good, i like the screen accurate bodge tape
  16. I also think the suit looks better with low biceps, troopers always seem to like hiding them under their shoulder bells for some reason which doesnt have the right look to me.
  17. Looking good Aaron, well done mate
  18. I personally use canvas to fill my sidegaps, which at the moment is elite passable. I find it more comfortable than solid plastic and looks ok. With your arms down most of the time most people dont notice..
  19. In my experience the AP helmet has been the smallest. And i have owned, FX, AP, TE2, TE, TM and a couple of other lids besides.
  20. I have owned both of the armour you mention and i would say that the TE2 is more accurate as the AP has doubled up parts. But on the other hand the armour parts which are different on the TE2 came from a tour suit. So which is more accurate? Most armour have their ups and downs, i suggest researcg and make your own mind up which will better suit your needs. I hope this was of some help to you....
  21. Good choice
  22. You argue like a five year old. Character assassinations are your only line of attack / defence. Look at the laws new trooper lid with the oval shape detail in the teardrop detail. You admitted ruining TE molds and wanted to know why the new laws bucket had this. It is because he knew it was meant to be there and so he added it? I dont know, sorry for the off topic. I am not a spokes person for TM and can only comment on the lids that i have seen and in particular the lids i own. I own a hero TM and that detail is not there. This is your argument, not recasting. I am not speculating on recasting, i am telling you that i own a helmet made by TM and that detail is not there.
