Ok after a weeks leave and a week to recover I'm back trying to finish my new ESB armourâ„¢ build. I have glued the arms together and given the arms and lower legs a light weathering. As we all know George Lucas wanted the Star Wars universe to be used and look lived in, the stormtroopers were no acception and looked like they had seen plenty of action. Couple this with the fact the ESB suits were reused by now they are looking very second hand and my armourâ„¢ build will show that. These pics are on my iPhone and the weathering is not as dark as this in reality.

Sweet looking trooper The only thing I noticed is your belt slipping down a tad, I don't remember did you fit snaps in the ab plate to keep it up in place?

Match the thighs at the bottom edge and when you add your joining strips let that cover your mismatched tops

I have not yet finished my strapping, this reflects the way the ANH strapping was done, and as we know the ESB suits were reused again. My suit will be a representation on a reused well worn ESB suit, so stay tuned...

5'11 and 3/4 in bare feet and 6'2 in armour

Next on the list are; canvas belt, drop boxes, thermal detonator, adding the thigh power pack, gloves and hand plates and then final weathering and making this suit look like it came from the film set .... But all that will have to wait as I'm off on holiday for week starting today

Ok i have completed the back of the torso build, i will be working on the front and sides soon. Still need to source a canvas belt and then i will add the snaps for the belt at the front. But for now, take a look at the internal strapping as was seen on the original stormtroopers back in 1977 :shock:
