  16. Over the last few weeks i've been working on a new set of stormtrooper armour trying to make this suit accurate in every detail as seen on the original sets of armour seen back in the seventies. With the recent expose of the archive pictures this was possible, and my armour has details included in which up until fairly recently only a few select people knew about. I've even added in damage that was common and some bodged repair work seen on a specific set of armour that can be seen in the SW Holiday Special from 1978. This recent build would not of been possisble without help from TrooperMaster, StukaTrooper, JoeR among others so a big thank you to those people. Take a look at the pictures and i hope you enjoy this project.
  17. In that case how did you attach the plastic part to the canvas belt? If you laid it all flat on the floor to mark out where you'll fit it together the plastic part will be too tight. The way to do it is attach in the centre first, then hold the belt in place and wrap around your body and then mark it at the end and fix one point and then do the same for the other end. This way the plastic part is ever so slightly slack when sitting flat on the floor but sits correctly on the body.
  18. The ammo belt look better with the extra plastic removed. One question-why did you heat up the belt and add those bends in?
  19. As Billy has rightly said, the armour I am copying is a specific set as seen In the Lucas archives and not on screen necessarily. I wanted to give the impression that my armour was well used and beaten up and had some on set repairs and with such a good example recently coming to light I added in those extra details.
  20. I always have a number telling me how many unread pm I have as you can see, and if I click on that my msg open right up there and then. Do you not get this? -------------
  21. Happy birthday Pete
