1. Awesome thank you. I'm such a dufuss when it comes to it ;-)
 2. Hi,

My pc laptop was killed off by Windows 10, but that's for a separate thread.

Posting only on my iPad or iPhone I have trouble with
spacing and using photo bucket.

Do I have to use the use the mobile site version, not a fan of tapatalk. I like to see the forum as it should be?

I remember on my laptop you can toggle setting for replying but that option is not here on my iPad?
 3. The simple answer is trim to fit...

The long answer will depend on seeing photos you yourself in your kit.
 4. Happy birthday FISD :-)
 5. FISD Rules and Guidelines:

9. Confidential information is confidential. Do not transcribe, copy, or otherwise distribute information in private forums to third parties without permission.
 6. Now they look grey. That's more like it. Why are the tube stripes so low?
 7. I'm sorry how this panned out for you...

However what is sent in a private message is best kept, how do you say? Private.

I could keep you entertained all night about my exploits with TE....
 8. Depending on your monitor settings, or phone, tablet or phablet, colours may appear wrong. But even I think these decals are too blue. They should be grey similar if not the same as the grey for anh. And are the ear details also painted blue? Don't look grey to me. Most of everything else looks to be in check.
 9. I'm not finished yet. Spurned on by my recent meeting withe the creme de la creme of peas I have more to do.

Here I am in action at SWCE III
 10. We need more pics..
 11. I would be inclined to match the rear together at the top so that they close correctly when worn. Then I would not worry if the front does not match. The right shin top is covered by the thought pack. The left shin top is covered by the knee plate. Lastly trim the lower edge to match up. Job done.
 12. I don't know why the crl states those measurements. Canvas belts should be 3 inches wide and only 3 inches wide.
 13. No most ESB suits are reused from ANH. The few ESB MkII suits would be overlapped and not butt jointed.
 14. My hyper firm modified itself in transit from ANH to ESB - the counter fell off in the post. I took the power cylinders off. Job done :-)
 15. Hmmm my profile says a joined in 2007, but I would have been lurking since 2006 I would have thought. So that puts me in at around the 9 year mark....
 16. My advice is start on something simple and as your confidence grows move on to the harder parts.
 17. Check out my latest build there are pics ref pics measurements etc

http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32061-fbjs-anh-hero-build-tm/page-5

I'm using my mobile so the link may take you to the wrong page. Have a read..
 18. Ok so my Stormtrooper ANH stunt has been cleared by the young My Haggis and there was 1 advisory that needs attention and alas I am away on holiday so there will not be any further updates for a while. I will get on with my hero build as soon as I get back.
 19. Looks ok to me. None of the original helmet had great fitting ears. I would leave as but others may be more pernickety than I am..
 20. I think there are several versions. The figure was quite different from the screen grab if I recall correctly?
 21. Ok so what are we on now, day 20? So I wanted to trim my eyes on the hero lid like the efx lid, but that was not turning out as I wanted to I just opened them up fully like this.. This afternoon I have been painting the black outlines in the taps as I ordered some magnets to help me position the faceplate and back and cap. I always think you need 4 hands to be able to assemble a helmet nicely.. so not to waste any time in finishing this bad boy, er sorry hero off, I got started on the paint. I also touched up the side rivets in my torso by spraying some paint into a plastic container and brushing it on. To be continued...
 22. I would recommend anyone used elastic over nylon webbing and not just for sitting, but flexible plastic and not worrying about if you crack your armour are quite near the top of the list.. then just sit back and put your feet up..
 23. Ok so after putting the fireblade back into firebladejedi at the weekend and for those who have not seen it here it is.. its back on with my build. Ok so as its a bank holiday today in the uk my ninja class has been moved to tomorrow and I was going to be having a sci fi night with a mate who has Trigeminal neuralgia and as he suffers quite badly he was not feeling up to it and cancelled, so I started on my hero helmet build. I have trimmed the eyes and teeth and will do a little more work on Wednesday as planned. Updates with pictures soon I promise..
 24. Yep one of my shin fronts has 23mm and the other 20-21mm something like that...
