Not really. Have heard about all these build parties, until I could use one and nothing. Got bucket about 85% done and don't know when I'll get to the armor at this point with no help. Was supposed to have the guy that approves of the armor here in NC/SC come to my house and help out, but he has since taken a leave of absence. I'm not the type that can watch a video and copy it, more hands on and can ask immediately if I have a question.

I'm slowly building my armor and bucket. The kit has decals for ANH and ESB, but after doing some looking around I noticed that the number of stripes on the cheeks and rear of the helmet don't match. The cheeks should have 5 black lines and these have 8, the back ones should have 8 and these have 13. The tubes should have 13 blue stripes and these have 16. Anyone know where I can get the proper decals? I'm wanting to join the 501st, so I need for these to be accurate. Thanks for any and all help.<br><br> Shawn

Hey all. I have my Trooper Gear kit and have been looking at the brown box for many many months now. Had some personal things going on in life that needed my attention more than my armor. I have started on my EBS build with the bucket first. Still not finished, but would like to move on to the armor, but I'm staring at everything and have no idea where to start or fit it properly. I'm a nascar fabricator by trade and should be able to handle this, but I'm wanting to join the 501st and don't want to mess anything up. I've heard of armor parties and was wondering if anyone is having one anytime soon in my area? Appreciate any and all help!

Have started my ESB bucket and would like to get started on my armor, however, I am drawing a blank and can't seem to figure things out. I've heard of some people having armor build "parties" I guess you would call them, and was wondering if anyone near Charlotte, NC was doing anything like that anytime soon? I'll do all the work no problem, just need to be shown what I need to do to get it done right and properly fit. Thanks for any and all help

Appreciate the input. I have found a few threads that have some great step by step pics and instructions. I was going to start last night on my bucket but needed some longer clamps, so will start hopefully tonight on it. I'm a race car fabricator by trade, so hopefully I can figure this out...lol

I am finally ready to start my build after several months of looking at my brown box from TG. Had some things going on that kept me from doing anything with it. Of course I am wanting to make the 501st here in NC when it's complete. I am looking for any and all detailed pics or videos of the assembly on a more current armor kit such as this one. I don't even know where to start on the bucket at this point....lol. I don't want to mess anything up or do anything wrong and have to order another kit and spend more money and be put on a waiting list once again.
