  4. Pew pew indeed. :-) Lovely job, mate. Loving the folding stock. You must be chuffed. :-) Now, off to the shed to get your armour. ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. This one? https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/ It’s tricky to find through Tapatalk. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Cheers Rat. Glad you got what I was talking about. :-) Apologies if I misled anyone. From what I could see, you were in the initial “tape pieces together to see how they fit” phase. Personally, I was advised to rough trim and size up (as you’re doing), glue the piece (cover strips), then do the final sanding (including removal of the return edge at wrist end) once the piece is glued together as one, allowing a nice join of the two limb parts. My pic was just to show the hand squeezing through the wrist end - not in any way referring to the return edge at the wrist end or a completed piece. Of course, this was only a suggestion. Best of luck with the rest of your build mate. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Scared to answer now, mate. ;-) I’ll let the boys confirm. Keep up the good work mate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Image deleted. Feel free to PM me next time mate. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks for the comment Paul. Totally agree re the wrist end. Thankfully, as you’ll see, that’s a mid-build photo and referencing the construction rather than finishing phase. (For reference, my return edge at wrist end was removed to achieve Centurion). I’ll specify next time which phase of the build a pic is referring too, should I try to assist in the future. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Good start, there. I was advised that, to get a good fit, your hand should just about squeeze through the wrist end. That should give you a nice fit. A little like this. [image deleted] You’ve got plenty of wiggle room with the elbow end, too. From many of the screen used suits, they had minimal return edge near the elbow. Of course, I’m not suggesting you lose all of it - just gives you some leeway. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yep - who would have thought that a run of the mill toothpick would be such a valuable tool for helmet painting. ;-) Looking great. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Use the force, Wayne. ---- oh wait, that's the other team!!
  14. Congrats Tom!! (and apologies for my many duplicate comments above...either fat fingers or forums glitches...) Best wishes, Dan :-)
  15. Hi Elmar, As Mathias said, they are both nice in their own way, just boils down to personal preference. Just to ensure a fair comparison though; I'm pretty sure the RS picture that you have posted above was a fully painted lid (beautifully recreating a screen used lid) made of HPDE. The ones that they sell are still bumpy (as per the screen used lids) but would not look quite as 'used' as the one you've pictured and are made of white ABS or PVC. Perhaps check out a few of the RS Propmasters build threads on here for pics of production helmets. BTW, either way you're going to end up with an awesome set of armour!!! :-) Best wishes, Dan
  16. Hi mate, Ask as many questions as you can! :-) Here's a link to some of the main tools that I found helpful: Not saying it covers all items, but quite a few of the most helpful ones. (Not sure if I mentioned in the list that a good vice is handy). Best wishes, Dan :-)
  17. Hi mate, Looks like you’re doing well. Do you have some sets of magnets? Might be worth offering the two parts up to each other. That should start giving you an idea of where the final cut lines will be. A little like this: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hehe. Good to get some cutting practice on those plastic hand guards, but , don’t forget that you’ll need to upgrade to flexible hand guards (that Tony eluded to) for Centurion. :-)
  19. Hi Jack, Good, steady progress. :-) Regarding the eyes, I’d have a look at starwarshelmets.com and find one that you like best. Each one can be a little different here and there. With mine, I rough cut with the Dremel, then used files to gently open up the eyes to the desired amount. :-) Hope that helps a little. :-) Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Great looking set of armour there. :-) If I may, it looks like your end cap on your E-11 is round the wrong way. Just needs to turn a little further round. :-) Best of luck. Great build. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. How did I miss your EIB app? ;-) Best of luck, mate. :-) Dan
  24. Looking great. Best of luck with your application. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Hi Lionel, Personally, I have found the Tapatalk app the easiest way to upload pictures. It very simple, free and doesn’t have the upload limit. Alternatively, you can upload your photos to a service like Imgur or Flicker and share the image links (urls) into your post. Hope that helps. :-) Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
