TK 38987 requesting ANH Stunt EIB (wtf) [788]
CableGuy replied to DamnitDavid's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Well done, David. That’s a nice looking set of armour. :-) If I may, I’d also mention the bicep to forearm gap. If it were me, I’d probably raise the forearm by around an inch or so (yours look like they might be resting on the hand plate) and drop the bicep by a couple of inches to try and match the originals a little closer. Here’s what I mean. :-) Do you have elastic between the bicep and forearm? Best wishes, Dan :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Wow - what a collection. Didn’t realise you had a shadow, too. :-) Have you seen Tino’s weapons cabinet? A good point of inspiration if you haven’t. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

CableGuy‘s ANH Rubber E-11 (Imperial Warfighters)
CableGuy replied to CableGuy's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
Hi guys, And the moment you’ve all been waiting for.... So, the rubber blaster IS lighter, but not by a massive amount. I tried a little tidying tonight, however it’s not a material I’m enjoying ‘working’ with. Resin is so nice to modify and adjust, whereas this is a bit awkward. It gives me extra respect for the work that Ryan did when making it. As such, I’m not really going to modify this past what is done. From a few feet away, it holds up well against my Doopy’s and, as intended, gives me a lower risk item for trooping. Here’s a few more shots, just for fun. I’ll get a few action shots too, next time I’m kitted up. Thanks for following guys. I’ll update if I make any more changes. Again, big thumbs up for this. Lovely piece from Imperial Warfighters. :-) Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Hi guys. Just a little update for you. I’ve been informed that a tiered system for blasters will not be moving forward at this time. Let’s do what we can to help others by showing them some awesome blaster skills. :-) Thanks for everyone’s input. Best wishes, Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Awesome. Yeah, I forgot you’d got a whole new kit. (Note to self - pay more attention) lol You’re gonna have a great collection of TKs and blasters at this rate. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s looking very consistent to me, mate. :-) Glad the zoom trick is working for you. Really does help, doesn't it. :-) Are you getting a new belt to go with your stunt?

CableGuy‘s ANH Rubber E-11 (Imperial Warfighters)

I'm ready and waiting to watch your thread... ;-) hehe Imperial Warfighters do a foam blaster which is around 500g (if I remember correctly). Personally speaking, it trades off too much detail for my personal tastes. -

A little pic of pre vs. weathered. Once I’ve had a little tidy here and there, I’ll review the weathering and see if it needs any more. I’ll also try to get some daylight shots so people can see it in more detail. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
CableGuy‘s ANH Rubber E-11 (Imperial Warfighters)
CableGuy replied to CableGuy's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
Hi Tino, Yes, I think it has a lot of scope (pun intended ) for modifications. Overall, in the flesh, it really does look nice. Of course, on closer inspection the signs of it being a rubber unit are clear, but not in a way that makes me in any way disappointed. At it's price, it's superb! I imagine that quite a few parts could be replaced with real parts, such as the muzzle screws, scope screws etc, even if they had to be glued in place (rather than threaded). I'll certainly be seeing how well some of the parts tidy up, such as the front sight, inside of the trigger guard, barrel holes etc. However, I won't be heartbroken if this was a good as it gets. It's just nice to have a blaster that can take a little knock here and there, should that happen. I'll check the weight when I get home, however I don't think it's far off the weight of my Doopy's - perhaps a little heavier. I'll check tonight. Would love to see what you would do if you were let loose on one of these... -

Yes, a good selection. I had a look at the foam one but it wasn’t quite right for me (in terms of appearance). Really like this one - worth every penny. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Ah, I get what you mean now. It’s a metal scope rail, rather than molded. Apart from that and the D-ring, everything else is rubber. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

It’s always fun around here mate. :-) Hmmm... not sure about the scope rail. It’s ANH - might just look funny in the blurry pic. :-) Went for Imperial Warfighters, Chris. It’s really nice. More details here: -
CableGuy‘s ANH Rubber E-11 (Imperial Warfighters)
CableGuy replied to CableGuy's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
Cheers mate. Yeah, it’s a really nice piece. Bargain too. Might do a little more tidy up at some stage but doesn’t really need a lot. Just went for subtle weathering too - used but not too battered. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Hi all, After recently completing my DoopyDoos E-11, I wanted to get a rubber blaster as a backup, or for events where the Doopy’s just seemed too delicate to take out. Also, as a new recruit, I think a more durable blaster will be good until I find my feet and trooping confidence. So, I started looking around at the options. My main concern with the majority of rubber blasters, (no offence intended to any owners or makers), was/is the seam at the front. However, when ordering my TK gloves from Imperial Warfighters, I saw that they offered a range of blasters. A few messages later and I was informed of their new molds and saw some examples. Thankfully, it looked very good (in terms of rubber blasters) and was a VERY reasonable price. I placed my order and requested an un-weathered unit so I could weather it myself. Today was delivery day and I’m pleased to say that I’m very impressed. Unboxing First viewing Pre-weathering Whilst most parts of this blaster are fine, the underside of the Hengstler was a little worse for wear. Thankfully, it’s not an area that is on display too much. For my subtle weathering, I used the same Humbrol Brass and Humbrol Metallic Silver. I simple sprayed a little paint onto a piece of kitchen towel and dabbed where required. On to a little review of this blaster, I’m happy to rate it highly. Firstly, Ryan (of Imperial Warfighters) is a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and kept me updated on the progress of his new molds, and then throughout the purchase and build phase. This blaster looks very nice. Of course, it’s a rubber blaster so has a few little rough edges here and there, however nothing that actually puts me off. I might use an exacto blade at some point on the front sight and trigger guard, however if really doesn’t bother me that much (and I’m fussy!!!) The blaster has a lovely weight to it and feels sturdy, however you can feel the flex in certain pieces. Not too much though - it’s certainly not floppy. For the price, (sub £100 inc delivery), I’m very impressed with this blaster. A good investment and a lovely company to deal with. :-) Best wishes, Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
