Lumpy's - DoopyDoo Resin Kit Build w/T-Jay's Completion Kit
CableGuy replied to Lumpy's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
Whoo hoo! The blaster builds seem to have gone a little quiet at the moment so it’s good to see a new Doopydoos/T-Jay build. Have you you already seen the FISD E-11 Blaster Reference PDF? I found that a good starting point for my build. Best wishes, Dan -
Bump - spreading the word. :-)

TK-52410 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status (SDS) (830)
CableGuy replied to José's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Congrats, Jose. Welcome to EI. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Looking good so far. :-) If you are going to apply new tube stripe decals or paint stencils/templates, feel free to stick up some pictures of them before you do. It looks like the ones you’ve applied could be on the opposite cheeks. The furthest front Stripe usually gives this away. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rookie builds a rs anh-stunt tk

Great advice from Daniel. It’s very tempting to trim/file too much out from the eyes. As Daniel said, many screen used helmets had a little flashing/return around the eyes. Helps add to the ANH vibe. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Hi Ian. Lid id is looking good so far. Regarding the legs and how you have them taped up - it looks like you have a very large amount of the “ridges” left on the fronts. You’ll get some good examples of how big they should be (usually just a little wider than the coverstrip) from the FISD gallery. Here’s an example of what I mean.

Do you have any pics? Brien is correct that they are not required for clearance, however a few millimetres can help add to illusion of depth to the armour. Could you consider losing a little from the top where it is covered by the shoulder bell? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Freduster's ANH Stunt TK build (RS Props, aiming for Centurion)
CableGuy replied to Freduster's topic in ANH Build Threads
Haha - Greg beat me to it. I totally agree with starwarshelmets.com (helped me greatly with the finer details of my lids) and the FISD gallery. They really help to show you the little bits that make ANH lids so special: warts and all. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

No worries. Btw, your painted buttons looked great! Very ANH. No issues as they were, although the decals are fine too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your build is really coming along. :-) Just noticed your ab buttons and thought I’d throw up a suggestion. The smaller of the two has very straight edges, rather than curved. It’s a really easy update if you wanted to do it. Best wishes Dan :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TK-12124 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB (834)
CableGuy replied to IBSkyde's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hi Jon, Overall, it looks like you’ve made a good job of what you’ve got. Looks like it fits you nicely. Something that I noticed is the neck gap at the back. Not sure if you are able to raise the back plate a little as it’s currently sitting a little low? Can’t really gauge your height from the photos. If you have room to move the middle section up (butt, kidney/ab etc), raising it might help even out the rear neck gap. :-) If you’re aiming for Centurion (or just taking the suit to the next level) you could look into a few things, such as; 1/ adding the “Han snap” on the right hand side of the ab (pic 1) 2/ remove the white paint from the cod and butt fixing (pic 2) 3/ possibly look at the spacing of your side rivets (pic 3) As far as I’m aware, these won’t affect your EIB application, just things to consider if you wanted to make future improvements. Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 (FISD ref gallery) Best of luck with your application. :-) Best wishes Dan -
Cool. In that case, I’d definitely check out some of the previously completed RS builds to see how they get around it. :-) And remember, if in doubt, always cut less than you think. You can’t stick it back on. ;-) lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Btw, the CRL was updated a little while back to confirm that the rear tab may be removed without affecting clearance at any level. Looking great, btw. :-) Best wishes Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi buddy. It looks like your shoulder straps are too far back. Rule of thumb is usually 1 big and 4 small ridges glued to the chest. This screen shot shows what I mean. If you follow this, your straps should have less overhang over the back plate. :-) Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Super. Ross is churning out some excellent bits at the moment. :-) Look forward to following your journey (not that I’m an RWA fan boy or anything...) [emoji6][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] -
Hiya, I’d suggest the FISD gallery or www.starwarshelmets.com for reference. Maybe check out some of the approved EIB and Centurion builds featuring RS kits. Whilst this video is not using RS kit, it shows some ways to put lids together. I used this to help with my lid build. Not saying this is THE way to put lids together but it worked well for me. :-)

Slow and steady wins the race. ;-) Out of interest, is this Ross’ standard kit or did you get any of the extended pieces? -
Freduster's ANH Stunt TK build (RS Props, aiming for Centurion)
CableGuy replied to Freduster's topic in ANH Build Threads
Hi Freddy, Whilst the link below is not for an RS kit, this may give you a feel for how a lid is put together. This is my armour maker, Ross or RWA, and I found his videos invaluable to my build. Out of interest, do you have a good selection of reference photos that you’re working with? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
