  1. Yeah keeping fingers and toes crossed for latex so Centurion is a go
  2. You secure them with screws and they need to be painted as per instructions
  3. Yeah it´s gonna be awesome
  4. This is a good sign https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0346/5761/files/FO-Armor-KIT-Instructions_VER1.1_040419.pdf?44
  5. There´s no rush, we`ll be here for when you´re ready
  6. Awesome! Congratulations and welcome to the Legion
  7. When trimming the bells I suggest doing so with a curve and not straight. That´s how the originals were cut and if you look at the RS kit you can see that is does in fact have a curve to it. That will help minimize any eventuall gap between the bells and the chest and back plates
  8. Hi Riva and thank you for your EIB application - we always like to see Troopers go the extra mile As mentioned we need a few additional photos before we can proceed: # Sniper knee -front/left/right. # Thigh ammo pack fixings- inside/outside. # Blaster D-ring. As for the cut you did on the ab/cod it´s fine for EIB/Centurion and the TD screws you have are good to go
  9. Hi Arthur and welcome back for a THIRD Centurion submission - let´s get started shall we! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. First we like to thank you for making the changes suggested in your EIB application and in this one. On behalf of the D.O team - Congratulations of reaching yet another Centurion. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this area we discuss any areas still needing some improvement. Although they did not hold you back from Centurion, at this level it's all about the small details that will really make your armor look its best as future ESB CRL model We start with the shoulders and based on your action-pose photo we are confident it’s just a matter of posture so we suggest to keep the arms more relaxed/in a neutral position to keep the shoulder bells closer to the chest and back plate. As mentioned the biceps could stand to come down just a hair for that Epic Stormtrooper-look. Idealy there´s no gap here and some tighter strapping should have this sorted. Lastly we have a simple dressing issue of keeping tabs on that shin closure. That´s it! Head on out feeling proud as a 3xCenturion-trooper for the Empire We expect to see you back with your ANH Stunt Centurion application
  10. "You know you did good when someone is using the collage you made"
  11. In short, no I would leave some. Personally I have minimal return for the inner thighs then gradually more on the front, pretty similar to the reference images I provided (Lucas archives). Sounds like a plan
  12. You don´t have to take the thigh apart, just use a dremel and sand it down gradually And as for the front cover strip I would take it off and bend it as you said to conform to the ridge
  13. Then I´ll hold back on the "D.O comments" and just say: That looks FIERCE!!
  14. I did the overlap and sanded it down to make it blend in more, if you mean the tops then yes I sanded it to make the appearence of a return edge. CRL says there is to be seams on the inside/outside and for Centurion the inner seam should be overlapped, they can also be fixed or functional
  15. I built a KB and incorporated the curve, feel free to check it
  16. It can wait One of us will be with you shortly
  17. Hey Adi, don’t do that as the belt is not supposed to go below the kidney. Use straps at the ends instead
  18. Hi Arthur and thank you for your ESB Centurion application - beautiful job We have a request before we can proceed though and per L2 CRL: OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): If rubber gloves are worn the hand plates are affixed via an elastic strap over the palm. If silk or satin gloves are worn, the hand plates have the correct visible stitching pattern using black cotton, with a five point/star pattern, equally spread out with 2 on each side and 1 in the middle front, and needs to be double stitched at each point. So, choose one of the variants and post another photo of the gloves and handguards and we can get you approved
  19. Show the armor, show the armor!
  20. Yeah I meant for both panels- thanks for clarifying
  21. Hi Dave The smaller plate is not meant to have any return left, here´s a good reference on how it idealy should look and you can see the corners are straight
  22. Here´s two other great videos to watch on the subject https://youtu.be/koWPCn4YtNo https://youtu.be/jyIWUYbhk3U
  23. If you are talking about the right hand side then in my opinion the only snap needed is the top one as the belt holds the rest
  24. Hi Trina and again thank you for your EIB application and may we say you did great in sizing the armor to fit your frame CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted , thank you for making the requested fixes and now I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for ANH Stunt Expert Infantry. On behalf of myself and the entire D.O.Team, Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. As we navigate through this review we are going to start with the helmet and work our way down the front and then turn to the back - let´s get started shall we! Starting with the helmet and the brow we would like to suggest that you raise it just a tad to be more in keeping with the Stunts and then you would fit in perfectly with the Troopers below Moving on to the ears, though there are exceptions, for the majority of the helmets the ears were assambled with a slight angle to them as seen by the ref pics. If you can repositioning the ears without damaging the helmet we suggest you do so and that would also add to that ANH magic. We keep focus on the ears and we like you to check if you can close that gap some more, especially the right one (as looking at it) perhaps it´s as simple as tightening the screws. The mic tips themselves are great but as you can see in the ref pic, the originals were white on the inside and on the rim. You have a great looking set of armor and these details as with the brow above and the ears to follow would really take it to the highest level making you look as you just stepped off the set on Elstree Studios Your shoulder bells are well in keeping of the movie-Troopers but we feel it’s worth mentioning that shortening the straps would make it even more ideal. Moving down to the ab buttons, and as seen in the ref pic, the panels idealy sits within the mounting area and if you decide to make the change, reducing the size of the paint would also take it closer to the originals and make it easier to trim the smaller plate without risking to cut into the paint. For the thighs we suggest some tiny triming to keep the cover strips from going over the edge of the armor and normally we wouldn´t mention the left one as it barely goes over but as the right one could stand some TLC we threw it in there as a suggestion as well. Turning to the back and looking at the shoulder bridges you appear to have alot of material to work with and by cutting that last big bump in the rear you will have more clearence to the O ll box and as a bonus it´s also screen accurate as seen below. Great job in making that belt - taking orders? A small detail that would make it even more perfect would be to shorten it so it doesn´t stick out behind the TD. Looking at the TD we suggest tightening the screws for a cleaner look and to avoid it getting snagged on something. Finally we have the blaster and as the T-tracks and rear part of the Hengstler were plastic on the blasters used in the movie, those areas shouldn´t have any metalic weathering on them. Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Below you will find areas that will need to be adressed for a future succesfull Centurion Application You have as mentioned earlier a really great looking set of armor and the suggestions made earlier are just meant as the icing on the cake and we don’t see much that would hinder you reach Centurion, in fact there´s only two small areas of concern at this time. First is the eventual use of velcro on the shoulder bridges in the rear. As CRL L3 states: they shall free-float in the back. The other area is the clips on the TD, although we love seeing alternate ways on doing things we feel that for Centurion they need to be more in keeping with the originals, and as seen the ends should not be folded over. That’s it! Congratulations ones again - head on out feeling proud as an Expert Infantry Trooper for the Empire See you at Centurion
  25. Awesome! Congratulations and welcome to the Legion Trooper Don´t forget to request TK status https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/186-501st-and-detachment-access-requests/
