TK-29413 Requesting ESB Centurion Status [AFP] (449)
TheSwede replied to Anxo200's topic in Request Centurion Status
Hi again Angel, looking forward seeing the photos -
Hey Nathan I´m sure you are correct, just meant you don´t need to include one for your EIB approval. Supplying screenshots will be great when it comes to update the CRL and in the meantime, how you Troop is up to you and of course your Garrison. Same applies here. The emblem would be optional as not all the Troopers are wearing it and apply at basic. Meaning if you want one you can wear one. Animated style is a L3 already. The line will be preserved when shins are fully closed, you can use the same method as the FOTK Shins. It does but I wouldn´t use it as it don´t seem accurate and to my mind would make it harder to preserve a nice seam. Lower Leg Armor Butt joint is required in the front. Overlap construction is not allowed. Greaves close in the back across the seam that lines up with the thigh seam via velcro or snaps. Greaves may utilize a white cover strip over the rear seam. The hexagon knee plate (sniper knee plate) is affixed to the left greave and may have two visible brads or rivets securing it to the greave.

Hi Nathan and thank you for your Rebels EIB application, I did a quick search and you may very well be #1 A great mindset to have as this will be exactly that, let´s get started shall we! First we have the backplate and as per CRL L2 it shall not overlap the kidney, in fact it should be a clear gap between the two as seen below. Next up we have the ab button detail and yours is currently to far off from the reference to pass Expert Infantry. Moving on we have the ab/kidney and a seem is allowed but it should be flush and not overlap. Sorting the ab/kidney issue will aid this next task, as seen in the reference the belt should appear as one seamless piece. The color difference also need sorting. Final item in need of sorting, based on current photos, is to close the shins. If you need assistance on how to get to work on these fixes don´t hesitate to ask! A few smaller tasks to perform, if using it, is to make sure the pauldron is on the correct shoulder (right) and include all the photos as seen in the EIB photo checklist and just as an FYI, the DLT19 is not a part of the Rebels CRL

You have taken your first steps into a larger world -
Hi again Andre and thank you for your EIB application. In this review I will ensure that your armor follows the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Expert Infantry Badge and also point out what I can to prepare you for Centurion, should you choose to apply. I hope you do! Let´s get started shall we! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for ANH Stunt Expert Infantry. On behalf of myself and the entire D.O.Team, Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions As we navigate through this review we are going to start from the top and work our way down. This first round are just suggestions with what we feel would improve the overall look of the armor. Starting with the vocoder it´s just a little touching up on two spots for a prestine movie-look. Next up is a combo of screen-look and beeing more comfortable on Troops by trimming as indicated. Moving on to the ab plate it´s not supposed to have that big of a lip/return so trimming it would make it more accurate and as a bonus also put the Han-snap in a more accurate position. Looking at the TD and compairing it with the ones used in the movie the clips were cut straight with smaller screws placed closer to the ends so in case you want more screen accuracy then doing these mods would be our suggestion here. Here we suggest some tighter strapping to rein in that posterior plate. Last item on our suggestion list would be to trim the back of the thigs for increased mobility and possibly help with the posterior plate not beeing pushed up over the kidney plate. Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Below you will find areas that will need to be adressed for a future succesfull Centurion Application. We only have two small things to mention, first beeing the gap between the ab and kidney plate and based on all the photos in your application it should only be a matter of beeing mindfull when suiting up. Second and final thing would be to raise the belt a smidgen, some velco in the middle should be a quick and easy fix. That´s it - again congratulations and see you at Centurion

CableGuy Builds....DA PROPS HDPE Stunt (ANH)
TheSwede replied to CableGuy's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Both excellent choices obviosly but....you can’t beat the feeling of handling a helmet kit straight from the moulds taken from an original helmet, oh how I wish they would do a HDPE run. So my recomendation, RS first then TM and then....and so on -

Hi again Brendan and thank you for your Centurion application - let´s get to it! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements All required photos are now in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to Centurion! On behalf of the DO team and myself, many congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly In this area we discuss areas that could benefit from additional improvement. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. You have done great work on your armor and we only have a few suggestions that we feel would really make you shine. First suggestion would be to shorten the belt as it should end behind the TD thus making you look sharp walking away. Second suggestion involves some more work, it appears the right thigh is bigger than the left so reducing it would make it look better to put it plainly. Last suggestion would be to add some paint to the D-ring or replacing it with something a bit more accurate. There we have it, we made our suggestions, the choice is yours - Centurion

Hi Brendan, thank you for your Centurion application I have a few asks of you. The left/right side detail arms up photo is supposed to have you in it also, be sure to close the right side gap when reshooting that photo or paint the tab ´n slot piece black. Remove the sticker on the TD and submit a new photo. Lastly, it looks as your mic tips are black on the inside, please take a new photo to confirm they are white or paint and resubmit. Thanks

TK-10770 requesting ANH Stunt Centurion status (445)

Hi Brian and thank you for your Centurion application - let´s get to it! We only have a couple of things to mention and they are all minor and very easy to amend if wanting to. A simple dressing issue keeping the pieces alligned. Just an accuracy issue, if that´s your thing - certainly is ours, would be to use rivets for the holster. Dressing issue #2 keeping the thighs at an even hight. Final thing to mention is to add some paint back on the D-ring. And that´s it! You have earned the rank of Centurion - enjoy it -
Here´s Han and Luke, appears they close differently (left over right and vice versa) but shows how it should look Looking at your helmet it appears the paint on the traps might be a tad to big, it should be within the recessed area - keep it up almost there
