  1. I should do a tutorial video. I'll pick up a tube of epoxy putty when I get a chance.
  2. I use a neckseal that Mrs. TK4205 made for me.
  3. So we have one, "not a recast" . Which kit/kits did you compare it to? You first said that this was not a recast thread, then you went on to say that you think that it is not a recast. I'm getting mixed messages here. I'd like to see more than pictures of box. I see from your profile that you are a brand new shiny. You're going to have to convince me that you are talented enough to make a call on recast armor. I'm not questioning your talent, but your authenticity.
  4. I haven't gotten notifications in so long. I was waiting for it to just be fixed, but no. Please check my email too. [email protected] Thank you for your time and effort.
  5. I'm sure it can be done. I just used magnets on the FOTK because of difficulty of suiting up alone. We never had that problem with the original TK's.
  6. Some people say I'm antisocial, when really I just want to be left the f alone.
  7. We have a "like button". Just that causes enough drama...
  8. What do those run?
  9. ...to my friends all over the world
  10. Right now I'm relying on a compression fit. Cotter pins would work well too.
  11. Nothing to compare, really. The recast debate is usually exclusive to hard armor and molded/cast parts. Anyone can sew, and the "pattern" is a sleeve. I didn't invent the sleeve pattern. I was just copied, outsourced and undersold and that I can't do anything about. What irks me to no end is you guys that ignore your invoices after jumping ship. Go ahead and buy the FN gaskets, but if you're on our list please let us know.
  12. I just never miss an opportunity to gripe about facebook.
  13. Didn't I say that only good will come from private facebook groups? Oh wait, it was the opposite of that.
  14. Photobucket is off line at the moment.
  15. Aside from the pipe, which I already had, about $20 in hardware.
  16. Oh joy! Another private facebook group...
  17. Still need to build hands and feet.
  18. I cut 1/2 inch lengths of 1-1/4" to use as rotater cuffs for the joints. Lot more solid with the cuffs
  19. Was it another "pay ad wait", or were these kits supposed to be ready to ship? Hmm, interesting. It says "In stock ready to ship" on his website. It also states that for "legal reasons" he will only sell to 501st members or people wanting to join the 501st. http://www.fnarmour.com/product/fn-armour-kit/
  20. Has anyone received their FN armor yet?
  21. It'll make your hair fall out, is all.
