1. As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I've been a longtime fan of the 501st Legion and have been friends with a lot of members for as long as I can remember. When I was seriously contemplating on (finally) joining and building my first costume, I serendipitously met Walter in Anaheim. Through that random engagement, Walter promised to help me out if in case I decide to join. Easy said, right? Almost a year later, with an armor kit in tow, I contacted Walter through Jay (Drumstrooper), lo and behold, he remembered me and he remembered his promise to help. I was impressed. This is a man of his words! Walter was one of my key consults when I was building my TK. I was privileged enough to attend one of his famous workshop sessions and got my building confidence propped. Even though I worked on my kit in my garage, it never felt like I was alone in the process. Walter, like Tony or Jay, were just either one text, call, or FB messenger away. When I was 99% done with my kit, I hit a crucial snag in my build. Walter unselfishly welcomed me to his home, a workday, in the evening til about 2 in the morning. That evening, I finished my kit. Walter is the epitome of the mantra "troopers helping fellow troopers." His unselfishness is a bright light in the Legion and one that needs to be intensified. Thanks Walter.

6. Oh, wow. AJ. Centurion at last! Congratulations!!!!!!
7. Interesting. Interested.
8. Good luck on your application. Take it up to the highest level if you can. Cheers!
9. It's a vey clean and sharp build, Theo. I sincerely wish you can find a way around your blaster restrictions. Good luck Trooper!
10. What a nice slick and clean build. Congrats Centurion!
11. Congrats, Yes, give us another creative action shot, celbratory shot if you will.

Cheers!
12. Hi Sean. I'm a small Trooper as well, at 5'4" and I didn't have to trim the butt on top or below. While I exhibit the "diaper look" when wearing the armor, it worked. I agree with Tony. Please post some pictures so we can provide proper suggestions for you. Cheers!
13. Kyle, Tim, Your messages mean a lot. It is my privilege to have been congratulated by top leaders of this organization. In deciding to create the armor, I braced myself to the responsibilities and commitment that I need to put into this (amidst the grueling requirements of work and personal matters). Expect that I shall serve the Empire to the best of my abilities. Thank you sirs! Ricky
14. Brothers Walter and Kris, I think the team needs to have a relaxing celebration. Application approvals all around (as we wait for Renaldo's)!
15. Congratulations brother!!!! In the short time we've known each other, we've become good friends. And I learned about all the trouble you went through to finish this armor, and how instrumental Tony was to your journey. You're a hard and smart worker, Jay. This approval is a testament to your resilience, positive outlook, and kindness. Take a bow, my friend. Step into the limelight. This is your moment. Salute!
16. A million thanks for the thumbs-up, Tony! Kudos to Mr. Andrew too. My two thumbs up for you two for your remarkable service in this community. This couldn't have come at a better time, honestly. This has brought a bright ray of light on a couple of personal cloudy days. I have nothing else to say, let my silence be a loud silent scream of gratefulness to you and to the gang who inspired and counseled me on this journey. On to my first troop this Saturday at the Autism Speaks Walk in San Jose. That's what this is all about! Cheers! Mabuhay (Long Life)!
17. Thanks for the good luck wish, AJ. Would certainly need it. When are you posting your Centurion application?
18. I could be wrong, but I think the cod piece rivet should not be painted white.

Otherwise, nice looking and clean build, brother, good luck on your application!
19. Happy anniversary on your Centurion approval, Walter (if my memory serves me right). Yes, it was a year ago when we bumped into each other at iHop (not Denny's). It was a year ago that a stranger urged me to join the 501st and promised to help with my armor in whatever way you can. As I always say, I never expected you to keep your promise (it was to a stranger, hey!), but you actually did. Bravo, sir. A man of your words. As I slave away on my armor in my garage for three months, the process was made easier with you observing my development and providing much-needed critique whenever you can. While I would have wanted more time at your workshop, the last one (of only two occasions) mattered the most. You helped me hurdle the bane of my armor's existence (shinanigans!). I surely hope I get the finish what I've started as I look forward to my first troop this Saturday at the Autism Speak Walk in San Jose and more trooping and charity work thereafter. Wish me luck, sir!
