Sent you a friend request on FB and added you to a local recruit group chat we have
-
Doing good so far Rodney, we'll be in touch as soon as we get a local armor party set up

If you are having trouble looking for your name, go to the first page. Press CTRL+A, then CTRL+F and a search bar will appear. You can type in your name and it will highlight your order

Was there a list we were supposed to be verifying our orders on? I haven't seen it so just wondering if I missed it somewhere in the thread

TK-42116 Reporting for duty!
Beaker replied to Beaker's topic in Newly Approved Members - Sound Off!
I'm having a blast so far just reading everyone's posts and seeing everything out there. I'm making a few adjustments to by armor before my next troop though. need to re-glue to speaker holder in the chest plate, and install the environment hearing microphones and platic dip the inside of the helmet and I should be complete....for now. -
Just received my TKID and approval email last night. Can't wait to get some more troops under my belt. I already have done 1 troop with the local 501st while my approval was pending and it was a blast!
-
I submitted these on Friday, so fingers crossed that they approve and get back to me
-
Here are my submission photos from my completed Anovos Kit. I did not have a lot of major trimming as my size is close to the original actors.(5'10", 145 pounds) I did replace the belt from the start as originally it was discussed that the belt might hinder acceptance into the 501st. About the only major trimming I did have to do, was trimming the back of the top of the thighs. They were riding up under the butt plate and did not look right.

Cool find at Radio Shack.

Was going to order the assembled version from shawn but since money is a bit tight right now, ordered this instead and am going to try and wire it myself. If not at least its only $11 down the drain. -
Yeah this is exactly how I had them mounted, but for some reason it was still pulling the chest to high. I end up running a strap glued to the middle of the chest and the other end glued to the middle of the ab and can now adjust the chest up or down.

Im using the wire and elastic that I purchased from mr no stripes, all of the elastic I received were the same size
-
Im 5'10" and I think that i need some longer elastic for these straps, but for now nylon will do.
