  1. Accepted Not playing as much now, mostly late at night, after work. I got to level 35 and since then, levelling-up has been strenuous, with 59k points needed each time! Only manage to play about an hour or less at a time before my eyes get strained
  2. Sounds fab, mate!
  3. Yeh, ordered T-Tracks, too. That'd be cool if you could have a rummage and let me know how much they'd be. Otherwise, i'm sure I could make some up
  4. Yeh, gave in and ordered the pipe kit and a couple of scopes (two, so I can experiment )
  5. These are exactly the same as I used, and were cleared. Stripped with acetone and wire wool, several thin coats (with sponge) of Angelus white leather paint. I used Plastikote white matt on the elastics. They do appear to crack when stretching to get boots on, but magically ease back into place ----------
  6. Was gonna order the Doopys pipe kit this morning, but as usual, another required part was out of stock, which would push up delivery costs ***Sigh***
  7. The price (as I understand from PMs) quoted, is for a Sterling on its own. He quoted me around $700 for a fully built E-11, based on a real Sterling. Most confusing sales thread ever
  8. So (just so I understand fully), you're supplying a deactivated Sterling, then I have to send you the Hengstler, scope, magazine and T-tracks, then you build it? Is that right?
  9. As Yee says, if you have the fan/battery ready, velcro in place inside the helmet, it'd take seconds to fit the fan if you felt it was needed
  10. It would be if Santa was bringing you an RS commission
  11. Cool! How did you put the D ring on? And what did you use for the D ring?I fashioned one out of some steel wire, but not really happy with the result. Also, sanded the moulded Rubies D ring off with drum sander attachment.
  12. The Rubies is a great (and cheap!) way to experiment with modding. Looking forward to seeing the finished blaster
  13. Has anyone tried modifying the little fans, to constrict the outlet, say into a cone-shape, to force the air around the lid?
  14. It does get hot and stuffy in a TK lid, mate. The longest i've worn mine was probably about 15 minutes. Not a long time at all and I wasn't exerting myself, but the moist, warm exhalations do seem to just stay there. MUCH more comfortable with even one fan in there. Do I think it's an absolute must? Maybe not in our typical climate. Does it make things much more pleasant? Hell yes.
  15. I do! Haven't seen that one in a while but seem to remember it was quite brutal for its time (obviously war is always brutal but sometimes its portrayal is not in the older films).
  16. You can stop calling it "Rouge One" Wasn't Mark Hamill in 'The Big Red One'?
  17. Exactly what I tried to do, but they sent 12v fans instead of 5v! (They refunded)No worries, I bought a couple of 9v battery cases for pennies, and they work pretty well with 12v fans, so I have a couple of spares now.
  18. That's the reason I haven't painted the inside of my lid. Just toooo much going on in there. It's almost coated on the inside with black duct tape anyway
  19. Which direction is it headed?
  20. Leather undergarments
  21. Better to make mistakes in a practice piece than on your armour
