Currently waiting for clearance in UK myself for an SDS outfit... Good luck - Your kit looks good.

If only SDS made a few simple tweaks to their manufacturing, it would be much closer to approvable from the start!
Make sure before you start (if using a mobile or tablet) that you "Request desktop site" in your browser, otherwise the options in step 4 in the link above won't be visible.
As long as they conform to the CRL, bud: http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt
Including the bit in blue text is probably a good idea.
Not sure where in the UK you are, but The Original Factory Shop had loads of pairs of Chelsea style boots (brown and black) with the correct styling, but obviously you'd need to paint them. They were only £15 when I was last in!
Depends how permanent you want it, I suppose? And how heavy is comfortable? You might find the resin would melt whatever material your kit is made from? Lots to consider
Thanks. Since that pic, I made new white elastic shoulder bridges, and moved the shoulder bell connection about 40mm forwards, which really helped. I'll have a look at removing some meat off them, though.
You're right. I just think it's because my chest plate doesn't sit as far out as the screen shots i've seen... 4 or 5mm lip average.
(I've made small changes since this photo was taken)
When I say the return isn't huge, I really mean it's tiny I reckon it would look a bit more screen accurate if it were a touch deeper.
Thanks, that's an interesting approach.
Hi, the return edge on the bottom of the SDS chest plate isn't huge, so i'd like to increase it a little.
Does anyone have any ACTUAL experience of doing this? Any tips would be appreciated, but i'd imagine a little heat and gentle persuasion would work.
Nice! I've ordered a couple of those little fans on ebay for £1.50 each. I WAS going to use a 4x AA holder and switch, but I have a couple of these little power units that never get used, so might try this!
There will be too many bright white lines streaking past you that you won't be able to see anything else.
