1. Indeed. Might be a longer term saving period
2. Thanks - I'm now leaning toward a Boba Fett
3. Fingers crossed, mate
4. Are you collecting it yourself?
5. Should be called 'Doopydon't'.
6. Isn't the best method for direct comparison, to photograph each item from exactly the same angle (individually), then stitch the two photos next to each other?
If you physically put the two pieces side-by-side, there are differences in angle, lighting, etc.
7. I didn't like the Beta version for some reason but bought the game anyway - Well, it IS Star Wars Yeh, really like it now. Play mainly Turning Point, Fighter Squadron or Walker Assault. PSN name same as here, feel free to add me
8. Not PC gaming but i've been playing Battlefront on PS4
9. I've been looking into perhaps creating a mould for making my own hand guards to replace my not-so-sharp SDS ABS hand guards. It looks complicated. And costly. So it suddenly struck me that I had some Angelus white leather paint left over from painting my boots, and I had leather. Lots of leather Anyway, I took some images from t'interweb and came up with these... I know they won't pass for the highest level, but then neither will my current 'trooper armour But they certainly look better and sharper than what I have
10. How much do TFA suits come in at? Can't see full kits on the Anovos website...
11. Great idea! I'll selflessly put myself forward, if every maker of stormtrooper armour want to send me their full sets so I can 'Archive and photograph them'.
12. The guys at RS seem to have first class customer service
13. Works like a charm! I store the loops in my stormie shoes, so I don't forget to put them on first!
14. Ahem. Doubt it
15. Or maybe they can just send the sniper plate loose from the shin?
16. I dunno, something about optimum RPM maybe? A test with the fan and battery temporarily placed in the helmet seems OK. Placed at the bottom rear of the helmet, it moves air around to the front nicely, and isn't loud at all
17. You're right, of course... My test 9v battery was only showing 7v, so wasn't even making the fan twitch! The 9v might work better as they'll be a bit lighter, and I can put a fan and 9v on each side of the lid. I read somewhere that running a 12v fan with 9v supply makes the fan run a bit louder?
18. Hi, I received two cooling fans yesterday. I ordered 5v fans so I could run them off either 4xAA batteries or a phone charger pack. They sent me 12v fans! No problem, they've refunded the cash and i've reordered somewhere else. But what can I do with the 12v fans? Two 9v batteries wired to make 18v would just burn out the fans, i'd imagine, and 8xAA would be too heavy for the lid? Would be a shame to throw them away.
19. I have only 3 things that I really dislike about Star Wars films... 1. Phantom Menace. 2. Specifically, Jar Jar Binks. 3. That ridiculous 'NOOOooooo', from Darth Vader in Revenge of the Sith. I really enjoyed The Force Awakens. The look of the stormtroopers in the new Rogue One trailer really don't bother me. They're close enough that kids won't be able to tell the difference between me and a hero
20. Novus No.2 worked great on my armour for removing little transit scuffs... Used a Dremel buffing wheel.

Mine is ABS, though.
21. It's a little easier when you already have an approved stormie standing in the corner But I have a couple of things to sell, which are not being used any more, so if I can shift them, all will be good for a second purchase
