1. I bet you make that run in under 12 parsecs
2. He'll be the coolest 15 year old in... Like... Ever!
3. The one with the tiny spring?Yeh, the magnets are a good mod - I have a few neodymiums kicking about
4. Having never seen lumpy lids (!) First hand, I might change my mind quickly Your post is 100% spot-on, of course.
5. Lol I dunno. I might actually see which kit will be the best looking when both arrive. I like the solid-looking chunkiness of the full kit. Plus, I won't have to cut a slice for the ejection port, slide, etc...

I'll wait and see, but will probably use the separate scope I ordered with pipe kit.
6. I did, mate. I'll have two Doopys kits...ma pipe build and a full kit I'm an E-11 tart
7. Shhh... Doopydoos have (or just had) stock of the blaster kit at 39.99!
8. I tried 5v supply with 12v fans, after the seller sent me the wrong fans. Nothing. It didn't even make the fan twitch!

They work ok with a 9v supply.
9. Why would the helmet be covered in ripples but not the body armour? RS armour pieces aren't 'ripply' (?!) too, are they?
10. What was your reasoning behind that choice? I think i'd like to see them side by side. Only way for me to do that would be to visit the RS workshop. The lid on my kit is uber smooth.
11. Royal Mail charge an £8 'handling fee', and add it to whatever the actual customs fee is!
12. Video yourself going through some phrases with the helmet on, using just the Aker, and play it back... You'll possibly be surprised at how good it sounds on its own
13. Oh no, I totally get all that. I'm purely talking about the general public, not anyone into costuming. I really like the ripples - I reckon they look more like military hardware!
14. It doesn't bother me in the slightest seeing RS helmets' little ripples, lumps, bumps, or whatever you'd call them, on the surface, but has anyone who troops with such armour ever had a member of the public comment on its appearance?
I know they also do a smooth version of the RS helmet, but website says they don't recommend that one.
15. Shouldn't the snaps be in line with the internal cover strip?
16. Kit with completed helmet - $650Completed ensemble - $1800 Big difference! I'd imagine the completed ensemble would just involve a few fitting tweaks?
17. As far as I know, the numerical characters are the 501st unique designation. Under the same number, you can change the alpha prefix to whatever costumes you own... TK for Stormtrooper, TD for desert stormtrooper etc... Am I right?
18. Lol, you mean because I went through the rubbish bin to find what I needed? It was fun
19. Aaw, that looks awesome, buddy Thanks very much! Just compiling the other bits I need, so i'll nip into B&Q for some aluminium bar Typically, Doopydoos were showing 'in stock' for the Hengstler counters a couple of days after I ordered (!) Hopefully they act on my email asking to amend the order! I'll send it back at the same time as I send your leather tags, complete with newly-appointed TK designation
20. TK24697 'sounds' better, I reckon.
21. Did you play 'Turning Point' on Jakku (Graveyard of Giants)? That is essentially a full-on multiplayer (40 players) Jakku assault mode. My favourite to play, gets a bit mad at the end.
22. There's a campaign in Battlefront? Where?? Lol

It's a real shame. A campaign could have made it one of the best games ever.
23. Requested
24. Yeh, the soles are pretty smooth. Might do the same. The missus got boots lined with a rubber sole at a shoe repair place, think it cost about £12
