1. Sorry Markus, I wrote something thinking you had ANH armour, but then deleted it because it wasn't relevant
2. Placed on 4th May, so well after yours. Customer service is very poor, but I suppose folks put up with it because the kits are decent (!)
3. I emailed. And phoned, left a voicemail. No answer until yesterday. Well, not really an answer, just an automated response to tell me the order had been despatched.
4. I predict... That Doopydoos will be 'In Stock', of the complete kit fairly soon My order has been dispatched (ordered on 4th May), and I reckon they stock-up just after all the kits from previous run are sent out. Bookmark the kit and keep checking
5. Sorry, please delete - just me not reading the thread!
6. Hi, which brands/colours of paint are you trying?

Also, anyone with DLT-19 makers' info, please PM me details
7. No I didn't mate. I'll have a look. Yeh, just have a look at the CRL for the glove details.
8. The gloves aren't really any good, I don't think. You just need black chemical type gloves. Yeh, considering the shock trooper at some point. I'll wait for the CRL to be finalised so I'm not having to change stuff.
9. Doesn't really specify a material on the CRL: http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_rotj

Just got a secondhand ROTJ CFO myself... Really pleased with it Regarding underarmour, just got a one piece from extreme racing... Really good, figure-hugging, nice quality material. £35 from ebay or direct from their website.
10. Eek... Just realised i've lost about 7lbs in a week!
11. Lol, funny you should say that... I'm 6' and WAS 13st 11lbs when I bought the CFO. It soon became apparent that i'd either need to heavily trim the armour - cut away return edges etc - or just lose some weight I'm now 13st 4lbs and steadily losing more. Amazing what a difference a half stone in weight makes! I reckon sub-13st and it'll be fine. Yeh, I contacted Mark about the blaster and he sent me details. Possibly a Christmas pressie
12. Received my Extreme Racing undersuit today - Really nice! Good quality feel to the material, nice and figure-hugging with no loose bits around the knees etc.
I'll add elastic foot and wrist straps to stop legs and sleeves riding-up, but not sure they're really necessary tbh.
13. I used snap plates but any furure build, i'd use webbing, exactly for the reasons above. However, I won't be punching holes in the webbing, but using a conical shaped leather awl, to separate the fibres and allow the snap post to go through.
14. What device are you viewing on? Maybe have a look on a PC if you have one?
15. OK, i've decided I'll keep it as it is until: 1. The CRL for Shock trooper is complete. 2. I've lost the few kilograms so it fits me better But still looking for any pointers as to what might need done, for centurion level. I reckon: 1. Needs green bubble lenses. 2. Shoulder bridges need affixed at rear as well as front. 3. Padding in shoulder bells. And of course, a ROTJ-accurate blaster.
16. Hi, I tried bending ABS with my wife's hairdryer. She wasn't happy and it wasn't hot enough anyway. It's surprising how often I've used a heat gun (bought specifically for stormtrooper stuff). It only cost £15 (€18?)
17. It's a very solid-feeling kit, isn't it? Still mulling over the shocker
18. Anybody have tips for shimming on these? The biceps and forearms fit - just - but they pinch something awful. I'll work on losing some weight in the meantime but would appreciate advice on shimming, especially with the overlap armour.
19. Thanks, Mark A pic from the rear...
20. Excellent - Did you spray or brush on? There is just an ongoing CRL discussion but no official CRL... Is that right?
21. Just ordered one of those, but through ebay... I'll report back here when it arrives
22. Cool Amazon sell it here. Carmine red maybe looks closer?
23. I'll leave it a while, at least until i've tweaked the clearance detail for vanilla ROTJ. There's no hurry at the mo, but i'm certainly leaning to the red side!
24. Well... Looking at the CRL, it meets all the requirements for level two A few minor tweaks for Centurion, such as bubble lenses, shoulder bell padding (where exactly does that go??), fix shoulder straps at back, complete the drop boxes to be closed at back and maybe glue the thighs at back (is this required? They're velcro at back just now) Cool
