  1. I would love to see pics of the rivet side, if you wouldn't mind. I may add that to my own.
  2. Personally, I would suggest connecting the kidney and the posterior plates, and THEN recheck if your idea for the sloped cut on the kidney is still needed.
  3. The strips will be thicker; that's normal. You're spot on as to why. It sounds like you already have a pretty quick method for creating strips - I don't know of a faster one.
  4. The notch isnt an issue until Centurion, so no need to worry about that just yet. Great work so far, Marco!
  5. Thanks! I went into my build with Centurion in mind, so making sure things were as close to EIB as I could be as I put things together helped a ton. Plus, it meant one set of pics for both!
  6. Awesome work, Matt. Definitely a suit to be proud of!
  7. I'm having the same issue, where the elastic under the shoulder strap gets pulled outward. I'm going to try doubling up the white elastic, and see if that adds some rigidity. I'll report back on success or failure of that option. Open to other ideas, though.
  8. Awesome, thanks so much!!! I'll definitely get the shoulders addressed soon. Happy dance time!
  9. Back of shin is 25mm. Its the only one that is bigger than the others near it.
  10. Hovi tip detail photo added. I also noticed that the sniper knee had detached from the outside... that has been corrected, and pics added to the thread. If I need to suit up and retake the full size pics, I can.
  11. I can definitely back that statement up. This past weekend was Wizard World con in St Louis. I was stopped for photos a LOT more while in armor than when in Jedi garb.
  12. I should be the one apologizing for not having everything you need. I will get that added later today.
  13. It definitely won't be a pity pass - your armor is looking really good. Tweaks will come in time. Wear it proudly!
  14. So, you singed the edges of each fillet? Seriously though, if you are happy with them, the color doesn't matter. Fit is much more important.
  15. I did this as well - contacted Tony about slightly wider strips, and he said to keep it proportional.
  16. While waiting on EIB, I received a package today - Kev's inner drop boxes! Kevin is nice enough to pre-scribe the line needed on the outside of the inner boxes, which made me realize my outer boxes were the wrong size (per http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30142-drop-box-placement/) - mine are nearly 18mm. So, another item to change, but it will be worth it on the road to Centurion.
  17. Mine is like the above two pics, and passed basic submission just fine.
  18. Looking awesome!! Personally, I think you can move the shoulder bridges forward about two "bars" - that should give you what you are looking for.
  19. Great work so far, John! Question: is it the camera, or does the control plate in the middle seem to have "stretched" where it meets the clip? It looks as if the gap between the end caps and the middle piece is not consistent all the way around.
  20. The photo has been added after the E-11 pictures in the first post. Thanks!
  21. Good catch, Ben. They are unpainted. I will get that fixed up asap. Boxes are an easy fix. Ears as well. The gaps will be a bit more difficult, but I will look into it. The rivet side is held in place a bit differently than most (I used a long 2" wide strip of nylon strap, and riveted through that). Unfortunately, the nylon has somehow stretched. I may have to go to the strap format that others are using. Thanks for the pointers - I'll see if I can fix those items and reupload corrections before Andrew and Tony get to my app.
