  4. For £40 you can buy a doopydoos’ resin kit. Yes, there’s a bit DIY work you have to do assembling the kit but it will take you all the way to lv.3 (if assembled with care). Check FISD forum “Weapons Locker - E11” section for details on building one (its not that hard really). Cheers.
  5. Congratulations Nicole, welcome to EIB.
  6. Congratulations!
  7. Congratulations! Hope you will enjoy trooping (especially with charity events), you will find the experience most rewarding. Have fun!
  8. Thank you very much Joseph, I will find the time to make the suggested alterations and have a set of new photos taken.
  9. Indeed, also A fan inside the helmet if positioned correctly will help disperse humid air (sweating / breathing) and prevent the visor lens from frogging. Visibility is poor inside the bucket (you have to look three steps ahead, anything closer is in the blind zone), keeping the lens clear is essential.
  10. Our Garrison mates prefer hard hat liner, mainly due to the sub tropical climate here. Let the air flow and a Build-in fan system is a must otherwise heat-stroke is guaranteed.
  11. In broad daylight, the differences are much less obvious. Judging from the photo (indoor, with a warmer tone), there is a slight difference between them but I think it is acceptable.
  12. yes, a side by side picture would help better.
  13. Re-positioned Ammo belt I moved the snaps on the belt back side down by about 5mm. Now the belt should hold and just overlap the bottom of the blue button a little.
  14. Attempt to fix the Ab 4-buttons plate: I just E6000 it back on the Ab plate and have to wait overnight for it to set. In the mean time I will work on repositioning the snaps on the belt.
  15. Kind of late to the party, but I also like to add. I have built a RS suit (as a TD) and an ANH hero set + a ESB bucket from Paul. Both are great kits and fun to work with, but I prefer Paul’s kit anytime. And yes, it’s pure work of art.
  16. Amazing work Glen. When I did my research doing TKC, I was also puzzled by some of the points you mentioned. I finally chose to use the “official” reference model graphics on FISD forum (from Force Unleashed I believed) and ignore all the MOD in the recent Battlefront games. I think the changes actually make it easier for people to follow and hence, a greater interest in building / converting an existing set to TKC. one thing that bugged me most is the Thermal Deronator section, the reference picture is clearly an ANH/ESB tube. Maybe we should consider making it clear there is a A (ROTJ) and B (game) style tube. JRS 181st Tie Pilot has two type of chest boxes, and they listed them separately with reference pictures, which is very easy to follow.
  17. Re-adjusted position so the control panel is now facing a bit more upward:
  18. Thermal Detonator details (re-take) These are 4-40 pan head slotted screws I ordered from amazon (they came in 100pcs / pack), I also used them on my TKC build.
  19. Congratulations! Impressive set you have there.
  20. Yes, I will roll the TD again in the morning and have photo re taken. I think I have misplaced the file for the back of the belt now I cannot find it, I will have that retake too.
