  1. also don't rock out to Caress of Steel in it's entirety with an exacto blade in one hand a TK bucket in the other and a Gibson Les Paul within eyesight during a build...
  2. working with sharp objects as fast as the cable internet is a bad scene
  3. i had a swear stomped up and down, polysporin'ed my self up and gentle put my armour to the side for this night... however... this is me posting images in real time, it feels gfood to get that sweet cable innernette in the house during the build! real time... almost bro lol
  4. Ok kids here's a little trick I learned from the great Steve Gazmosis and a couple other higher ups here a great trick is to use this to prevent splitting on your bucket Before After but also when your're trimming don't be like me. go slow or this will happen obligatory cat tax
  5. here we go... Pyrates I'm with you when you were doing your neck seal... Mk2 and counting lol
  6. and from my friend Aaron here's some really rough cut ears I'm going slow as all hell on this one boys and girls...
  7. oh I see gotcha man anyway here's my boots and helmet progress comrades, what do you think... I know I'm trying to clean everything up Remember folks a light dremeling over the teeth and eye excess make for easy exacto cuts
  8. Also Pyrates, I'm not really following why you needed to your the ABS paste on your helmet. Can you help me out? I cut all 8 teeth out was that a mistake?
  9. sigh I'm thinking too much about this, I want to get more stuff done but, I don't want to rush and screw more stuff up... Feel like an idiot going so slowly while ya'll are so far ahead...
  10. one thing I wanted to ask was where you picked up that ultra fine sandpaper. I bought all 3 novus polishes.
  11. Update I finished up my boots yesterday... They're looking white, tight and alright. I gotta get more progress finished I found Pyrates thread lol 34 pages!? dude you are a champion! Now one thing I want from my dear friends is links to your build threads so I can follow and support. Dan, that's you. Everyone else, I have Knockerbot's, Pyrates', Dirtytrooper (formerly chwillis), Cobra Menace (Justin R) etc. all those not list send me a link! More pics tonight. Being a home owner is a real pain , moving is worse...
  12. Aaron my man I was not following your thread like a real goofball, I went back and read the whole thing doing great buddy! The neck seal looks great, I got mine on ebay I hope it will be up to snuff if not I'm going to throw some money Darman's way. Look forward to the continued progress
  13. I finished painting my amsterdams last night. comfy as heck! If you don't mind a little bit of brush marks they're the best
  14. Probably going to be on a couple day hiatus. Moving stuff from my old apartment everynight...
  15. I refuse to change my Name to ComradeMesh, TKMesh, Meshtrooper or the like lol
  16. What have I done... I will never escape this
  17. Truer words have never been spoken lol
  18. you're probably right Joe. it says its a rough print to be finished by the end user basically, sanded painted etc.
  19. And sorry guys I didn't want to stir anything up. just curious of what you all thought of it, I was skeptical myself. I knew right away with the grip, but it did look like a decent rubies mod at first glance.
  20. I hear you Michael. if theres one thing I've learned here is don't cheap out go with vetted sellers. Dday's kits are beautiful I really want to get one. but I'm torn between a hyperfirm, the blaster my armourer recommends and a Phoenix Props pipe kit.
  21. I was doing a bit of searching and I came across this 3d print company that makes Star Wars stuff. Has anyone heard or had experience with them? Procoprints3D
  22. where did you get the diagram? I have bunch of computer fans I want to rig up for my helmet
  23. Same, going to try and build a DLT at some point. Also 6'3", gotta represent tha DLT!
  24. Good Call Eddie. Eric, for sure use Justjoseph's list it's a life saver. I also recommend his centurion rivet set. Tandy leather has the best snaps, Joanne's or Michael's in the US should have all your strapping and elastic. Build threads are also a good resource to give you an idea how how others assembled their armour.
  25. I know I know I didn't have any pictures of the state the face is in now... I will mesh it up, I will have the pics up tonight. Have faith my brother!
