When I first learned about the 501st it's been something of a dream to be part of it but that's what it remained until only a little while ago. I've been frantically studying posts and forums for all the info I can find on the build process, accessories, approvals you name it and I figure if I pay the armour itself off gradually I will have more time to educate myself and collect the outstanding bits I do not own yet. So far I have basically nothing... Just tools (I work for the family business which is a manufacturing company so most of the tools are easy to access...) I found out about the 501st and whitearmor in 2008 after an ex-girlfriend started dating a member (for respect I will not mention his name or designation). I've been lurking and dreaming about getting my TK designation and armor for almost as long... I don't know what took me so long to take the leap... I would have been in by now

Hi All, I've been having trouble finding a reasonable boot source for my size and area. TKboots is a serious option, but I don't know if they size up to a mens 13 US. They do ship to Canada which is good. Does anyone have any sources that ship to Canada, less than 200 CAD, and sizes up to a 13? I looked online at a few places but they all have seems in the wrong places and are/or are way over my budget.

Hello All, I am about ready to put in my deposit for my AP set. I was just wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction on building materials and and the other accessories required to complete the set to 501st standards. I would also appreciate if anyone could give me a realistic timeline and costs to finish the set for a complete beginner (with DIY skills and is relatively handy). ebay Can anyone verify the quality of this? I know we were warned about Ebay kits, but I haven't seen much bad press. I'm starting to obsess about getting a set like immediately.
