    I use shade 5, but I tend to do alot of outdoor troops and have sensitive eyes.

    Don't use gorilla glue, it expands alot as it dries. Generally the brow trim is U channel that just wedges on the front of the cap. If you have to use a glue use E-6000 or good ole Elmers. Superglue vapors as it dries and will frost the paint or surface of the area above the trim.

    The reason it would have to be on a DVD is my reference folders is sizable already and I only have croped HD screen caps that I use. There are a ton more to capture for a reference project. I'd also want to contact the armor makers for reference pictures of their goods as well.

    I just need a few weeks of no distractions and I can get a reference DVD banged out. But I'll get that kind of free time about 3 months after I die.

    We already have a few troopers who have the stormtrooper saber. No one has submitted one as a separate costume. One thing I learned is not to trust the wookiepedia's resource list. Do yourself a favor and double check as they take alot of liberties with the reference list.

    I epoxied the clips to my FX detenator. For the next one I'll be making them out of bar stock.

    I get to troop and watch a pre-screening of Clone Wars. Sunday I'm trooping at a local military base for the base family day. God I love this job.

    They are not Chengs. They are the SWwingman/darkside/danoheo? boots. Daetrin's and my boots are identical and here are some shots of mine: ---------- Notice the squarish toe, different mesh on the sides, the sole, and leather. I believe all Chengs are patent leather, but I could be wrong on that.

    After a long dry spell we have a new applicant for elite. I know there are troopers out there who can gain elite status so please apply. And there are more elite only goodies in the works. They are round .
