  1. Here are some more from BF1 and BF2. A few have been photoshoped to show pack and weapon details.
  2. Hey your in the UK, use humbrol it's better paint too.
  3. Many times different brands of paint and primer don't mix. Check out Home Depot and pick up some Rustoleum Painters Touch white primer. It's great. Unfortunately for your helmet, there is hope so you don't have to sand and repaint the while thing. Sand it down with new sandpaper until your wet sanding with 800 grit. Then wash the helmet with dish soap and water, rinse it throughly. Then try and paint it. Sometimes the oils in our skin can transfer onto an object and will cause a paint to react too. Also when you paint the helmet use very light coats about 5 minutes apart. The lighter the coat the less time to react before it starts to dry.
  4. I took some shots from BF/BF2 last night that I'll post up in the photo/reference thread for the HWT.
  5. We need to add the rocket launcher to the list of acceptable weapons, and tweak the backpack listing. Now the HWT trooper makes a couple appearances. One in an comic with very limited references and no side back views and then the BF/BF2 video games. Both are based off ANH troopers so that's easy enough, but the video game references are what is best known.
  6. The man needs a holster, wonder who has an extra one lying around .
  7. The originals had a bit cut out of the back too:
  8. I think you need to watch Empire Strikes Back again . Welcome to the FISD.
  9. Thanks for posting the backstory on the helmet Jason. Everyone knows your long battle against recasting and I'd hope that no one thought it was made by you.
  10. He's not forming it, just using it as filler and it's smooth on one side. The haircell side shouldn't be seen if I read his idea correctly.
  11. The TK armor appears to be the same kit that shows up on ebay from the UK time to time. Recast FX armor with a recast SDS helmet.
  12. Sorry for the late reply, I've been out on R&R. Before you can be EIB, you need to have TK status. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=16
  13. Sorry for the delay, I've been on R&R. EIB granted, excellent job trooper.
  14. OK, I'm back. EIB granted, nice job trooper.
  15. Those are darkside boots not Cheng's. I have both.
  16. I'm MIA on vacation. I'll do all the final reviews Monday when I get home.
  17. You'll need deglazer to take the top seal off, sand it with 800 grit, and spray it iwth nu-life leater spray. 3-4 light coats and it'll look great. Any shoe repair or cobbler should carry it.
  18. The armor looks great. The blaster needs the D-ring and your all set.
  19. The rivets on the knee pplate need to be painted white. We also need some helmet closeups that show the lense color and aerators.
  20. Excellent job Pablo. Your armor is top notch.
  21. Your build job looks top notch. We still need pictures of the blaster from all sides to make sure all the details are there, and a pic showing the cut butt/kidney plate. I also need a better lit picture for your profile shot too.
  22. Yep, they were shooting blanks. I thought this was common knowledge. There are a few scenes in ANH where you can see the 9mm casings ejecting from the blasters.
  23. I'm sure TK 1491 will chime in later. He has the battle spec and several others in his collection. Here is a pic of my AP on the left and his battle spec on the right.
