  1. I have 2 sets of Anovos, regular TK and the shadow. Very satisfied in quality for the price. It is a little thinner than some other makers, but as longs as you are reasonably considerate in the care of the armor you won't have a problem. The only place I had cracks was in the neck and each arm pit area. I have reinforced those areas and have no other issues. I think it was from how I suit up, I keep my clam shell together and put it on like a shirt. When holding it by the chest piece to get in it that puts a lot of stress on those areas. I also preemptively reinforced the shoulder bridges. Now their customer service is an absolute nightmare. My shadow kit arrived as a regular white TK. They made good, but it was like pulling teeth. If your order goes smooth you will love it, if not.....Strap in for a bumpy ride.
  2. Joseph kudos on that paint job. Really kicks butt. Wish I had some spare funds for these. Looks great.
  3. As others have said, its a bit off white, but not an issue. You can easily take Anovos to centurion.
  4. The backs of the things look a bit off. Is the cover strip not centered? It also looks like the left one is not closed all the way. The forearm didn't look like it was closed all the way either. The cover strips on the rear of the biceps look really large, I don't know if that would fly with your GML. The belt also needs to come up. The belt should be right under/touching the an plate. The cover strips on the front of the thighs goes too low, it should stop at the part of the thigh that has the molded section around the bottom. You are very close.
  5. You can be a trail blazer lol. I have not seen one, but would think it would be cool.
  6. You are doing great, keep it up. I didn't see it in your pics, but Anovos didn't quite finish the paint on the frown. So if they didn't do the "ends" you might want to fix that for a cleaner look. Keep chugging away and you will be there in no time.
  7. I couldn't get wireless to work well. I went with a throat mic. I would say it is 90% reliable which I can live with. No gum or anything. It sits on your throat and doesn't have to travel up to the bucket so it doesn't get caught on anything. Might solve your problems.
  8. I got that one from bavauto too. It works well and is a bit "fatter". But as Joseph said its light as its hollow and thin plastic. Good luck on the build.
  9. Yeah at that weight you will definitely need to do some trimming. It's not an issue and you should have no problems taking it to centurion. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. Welcome Roy! Your journey is just beginning. To get a little reference, what is your height and weight? Based on what you are saying it seems you are on the shorter side. You will most likely have a good amount of trimming to do, but you are off to a good start. I said hi over on the ECG forum as well. If you get a chance stop by Eternal con and you can take a look at my Anovos kit. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Yes, for the advanced tactics you need an appropriate E-11. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. You get what you pay for. A good kit is going to run $500+. As these guys have said, skip this. Save up and buy a good one, it will be much better in the long run. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. I can see where both sides can lay claim. I don't have a TD but have visited over there many times. It does seem a little stale, but compared to FISD all the other detachments seem to move a bit slower. After reading the discussion I have kind of changed my outlook. Some new blood and new costumes would give them a shot in the arm. If I have a vote I would sat the Jedha trooper w/ pack goes to MEPD and FISD her the other pack. This seems like the "fairest" option and could possibly build up the ranks of MEPD. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. This is a tough one. While I see where MEPD would like some more CRL's in their repertoire, just because it has a pack shouldn't automatically make it MEPD. I think there would need to be some differences in armor. I don't know how to word this diplomatically and not offend anyone, but if they didn't want the HWT what makes this any different? 15. Its good to go ANH out of the box. For ESB you need to change the paint on the frown from gray to black. The hand guards are completely different and are "clam shell" type. The holster is not attached to the belt and has loops that the belt passes through. The holster also goes on the right instead of left side. Because of this you would need a new belt with no holes in it also. Just things to consider. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. Congrats Adam! Welcome to the legion. Now get out there and troop. Also beware that building can become an addiction Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  17. Also, if you are going ESB with an Anovos kit there are some things you will need to change. The holster/belt, frown paint, and hand guards. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  18. Just a quick tip, fit things with the under suit you will be using. Things might feel a bit different. Good start, keep on trucking. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. Looks good Jim. Nice work as usual. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
