  1. That would be terrible for future HWT's. I think we would see a sharp decline in the number of people submitting. Unless they get creative with magnets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Awesome! Can't wait Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. Congrats to all, especially my boy Steve! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. You can definitely build to your height. There are just certain things to keep in mind. For instance when you trim the thighs do it from the top, and when you trim three calves trim from the bottom. As far as glue, unless you are on a time crunch I would use E6000. Its a strong hold, but very forgiving. If you mess up zap a gap/zip kicker, that's it, you are SOL. Yes E6000 has a long cure time, but the benefits outweigh the cure time in my opinion. Verlcro and snaps can be bought at a craft store like Michael's or if your not in a time rush I usually get everything on Amazon. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. That is a work of art! Kudos. Impressive, most impressive. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  8. Hey guys this might not be the proper forum, and if not feel free to move it, but I thought this is the best way to reach the target audience. I have made a HWT watch face for android wear that will work on any round watch face using watchmaker format. It has a step counter, weather, digital clock, and day/date. The death star is a battery meter for the watch and the star destroyer is a battery meter for your phone. As your battery drain they become grey. There is also a dim mode. In the dim mode the step counter and date disappear. Here is a link to the watch ------------- I have a few other star wars themed watch faces that are uploaded under my username allan1313. Thanks for looking! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. Haha, I didn't have any. Went on brick link and ebay to get the ones I wanted. We do crazy things in this hobby. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. As Joseph said, velco in the long run is a bad idea. Snaps and straps are the way to go. Sometimes it can take a little fiddling to get it exactly right, but once it is, its set and you never need to worry about it again. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. Touché Steve. I have room for 1 more. Guess I will need to stop at 10 Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks! It was a fun little project. Hopefully we can see some more cool stuff. Haha I look forward to it Here is a little closer view of the HWT with pack. In the finished version I had to have the pack next to him since it was too thick for the shadow box. Do it up Joseph! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. This is nerd level 1000! I made a shadow box with my 501st costumes (in approval order) represented by lego minifigs. I found a nice background with the death star and star destroyer. Its hard to get a good picture with the reflection of the glass. 1. ANH stunt Stormtrooper 2. Heavy Weapons Trooper 3. Imperial Gunner 4. Shadow Stormtrooper 5. Bridge Crew 6. Reserve Tie Pilot 7. ESB Stormtrooper 8. Tie Pilot (working on it not approved yet) 9. Royal Guard (working on it not approved yet) Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. Already approved. I know at least the photo of the pack needs to change. Very misleading. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  19. I have some intentions of trying to build it, but other things have gotten in the way. Maybe one of these days. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  21. Depends where you would be. You could have them shipped to me before your trip. I live on Long Island and work in NYC. We could meet up and hand them off. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
