  1. You guys knocked it out of the park again. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah what Tony said. I always try to go the simplest route, causes less trouble and headaches. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. Another option is the Disney binders. I have a few pairs of those. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. When you get approved as EIB and centurion the person approving the application will put this number in the topic title. They are given out sequentiality. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. They take forever and a day. It was over a year for my TK and TX. You will get it, eventually. Just hang in there and get everything else you will need ready so you can hit the ground running. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. What Steve said. Also what I had to do with mine was reshape the shoulders on the backplate so that it is less curved. This should allow you to slide the chest and back down a little. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. I have an Anovos and after about 25 troops its holding up fairly well. The only issue I have is 3 cracks in the chest piece. 1 in the neck area, and 1 in each curve of the arm. I just reinforced behind those areas and it hasn't been an issue. Other than those small cracks its going like gang busters. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. Looks good! I personally don't like things weathered too much and I think you are spot on. Its got enough weathering to look like its been through "the wars", but not too much. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. Very cool. Looking good. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. Very cool. Just when you think FISD can't do any better, someone always steps up. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Both would be good. I would lean towards the imperial boots. The other ones are shorter and they would tend to come out from under your shin armor. My TX boots are like that and I had to add some straps to keep the boots from coming out from under the shins. My TK boots are taller like imperial boots and I don't have that problem. 12. Yeah that would take a lot of effort and time to repair to add back abs around that. As Joseph said, maybe try ATA or WTF. Also maybe try heading over to MEPD, they should have a lot of unused ab button plates haha Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. Post some pics. It may be repairable. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. I am 6'2" and had no problems. I just had to straighten out the shoulders on the back plate a little bit. Depends on the kit you get. I just have a little more black showing on the tops of my thighs than some of the other guys I troop with. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. Good start Joe. I around the corner if you need anything. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. It's always easier to build with level 3 in mind from the start. Go for it! You can do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I troop my Phoenix props. It only fell and shattered once lol Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  18. I got approved with my Anovos helmet out of the box with not alterations. Later I did do some things to make it more accurate. The eye cutouts were a little sloppy so I touched them up. I added the last "tooth" paint on each side. The green lens they supplied are just fine. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. Big F'in Gun! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  20. I stay clean too. I like to think of my HWT as a fun alternative that I can break the pack and BFG out to spice it up a bit. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  21. Its an issue because it never appears in the game but some people add it. Some people it bothers and others it doesn't. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  22. I have an Anovos TK and TX. It is a little thinner than some, but if you take care of it you should have no problems. I have troops in the TK far more than my TX, but I only have 3 small cracks in the chest piece. 1 in the neck are and 1 on each side in the middle of the "arm" area. I have since added some scrap strips behind those areas and they have been fine. I did that on my TX when I first got it and those cracks have not shown up. With that being said, I would look elsewhere first. They take forever to deliver and are always delaying delivery. But to me the worst strike against them is their customer service. Its the pits. If you have an issue it takes a lot of time and grief to get it straightened out. If you are looking for something in under 6 months look elsewhere. There are plenty of other vetted armorers that you can go with. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  23. My thoughts on Anovos are a mixed bag. Their TK/TX is a decent deal (I got amazing deals on the preorder), but if you have one issues, buckle up. Their customer service is pretty nonexistent. Their online chat seems disconnected from everything else and doesn't know what's going on. I have had 2 encounters with them. I will put aside the waiting time, I knew what I was getting into when I did the preorder. My 1st experience went super smooth. I paid, waited a long time, TK arrived on my door. Built it and started trooping. My next experience has turned me off from them. I ordered my TX (shadow trooper), paid in full including shipping. I waited the requisite long time. Then I get an email saying I have to pay more for shipping to get my TX. They said that the shipping rates uncreased since I ordered. To me this is strike 1. I already paid in full and if you would have delivered in a timely manner you wouldn't have incurred this increase. What they should have done is not say a word and eat that cost because I already paid for my shipping up front. At this point I just wanted the kit so I paid the extra $20 or so. Next I get a shipment notification, yay its on the way!! BBB day comes, I rip open the box and.....they sent a regular TK. This is strike 2. At this point I am pretty pissed, you make me pay extra and send the wrong kit. I get on the chat and am not too happy. I actually get someone to call me and I talk on the phone. Its not an isolated incident and they shipped a bunch of wrong kits. I ask for some consideration and for them to expedite shipping and overnight shipping which they flat out say no. Fine, they don't care about their customers I get it now. He says I will send a return shipping label and as soon as its received by the carrier they will send the right kit. I print the label and bring it to the shipper that day. I talk to the guy again and he says he will get it out. After multiple emails my kit finally ships over a week later. Strike 3. The kit arrives and its missing tube stripes and there is glue all over the lenses that makes it impossible to see out of the left eye. I talk to chat and put in a trouble ticket. Multiple and chat sessions later, I finally receive tube stripes and new lenses 3 months later. Strike 4. While in the end I was eventually satisfied with the product l, there were too many bumps in the road. The way that they treat their customers is deplorable. They basically use customers as crowd source funding and string them along for too long. Here is my ultimate take in them. If everything goes right and you don't mind waiting you will be satisfied. If something goes wrong you will rue the day that you placed and order with them. Besides their TK/TX the prices seem high to me also, but that's a matter of opinion. I for one will speak with my wallet and they will not receive another penny from me. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  24. They gouge their customers for shipping. Its another reason I won't buy from them again. I preordered the shadow trooper and paid shipping up front. The over a year later when they finally shipped they maid me pay an extra $20 for shipping. Then they sent a regular TK, but that's another story. They don't care about their customers. Their service is atrocious. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  25. Ah sorry didn't see it was for TFA, I was talking about OT ones sorry. Viewing on Tapatalk and didn't see what forum it was in. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
