  1. Very nice...about to start this myself. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. I used the electronics from the Disney blaster and like those. Another option if you were looking. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. I have search and found some old threads about this but thought I might bring it up again and see if there are any new ideas. I usually wear glasses, I don't have terrible eye sight and my prescription is pretty mild. But seeing as how it is hard enough to see and maneuver while suited up I am looking for a way to see better. I have an old pair of glasses where the frames broke, so I was trying to come up with a way to mount just the lenses into the bucket. My first thoughts are just to use double sided tape or glue and stick it right on the back of the green lenses. My only worry is that the adhesive might distort the lenses if its not optically clear. Any thoughts? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. Looking good trooper! Just a few things I noticed, nothing big. Looks like your eyes could use a little more trimming. The cod rivet and butt snaps shouldn't be painted white. Those are easy fixes. You got this in the bag! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. Damn...I only primed mine then painted black. The DLT-19 I am working on I plan to use a base of silver before the black. Did you use the sponge like the dry brush? That looks very nice. I didn't have weathering in mind when I started so I am trying to figure it out from the flat black I have it painted now. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. So what is the best way to weather my E-11? I have some bronze paint for the scope and some silver paint for the rest. I have heard "dry" brushing is pretty good but have never tried it. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. It happens between III and IV. Its the rebels stealing the plans for the death star that princess Leia has in IV. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. Don't know where you live, but home depot has them in stock. $64 in my area (Long Island, NY). Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. I haven't gotten them or any email either. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  11. My badge #....with a 1 at the end since it was a low number that was already taken. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks guys. Been a fun journey. Won't mess up those rivets again haha. But at least I got to try working with ABS paste Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. Nice idea. Is that elastic? I think that's good so it will put pressure on the cards so they don't fall out. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks guys. ECG represent! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. Thank you Joseph for the great hand guards and the 2" nylon, those really helped! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. Looking good man!!! Think you got this in the bag. Maybe 2 suggestions, looks like you need to clean up the eyes a little, they have some edges that can be filed or sanded. The other is the ammo pack on the thigh. In the front on picture its hanging a bit low (the close up later it looks good), maybe throw a little glue behind it so it won't sag. 17. OK I have removed the bottom rivets on each side and plugged the holes. Then I repositioned the rivets. I think this should do it. Thanks! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  18. Yikes...$350 should be a finished ready to troop blaster. Good luck! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. Hey Sly thanks for looking over my submission. After I did the rivets initially I looked and thought it might be too low. I will get to work on fixing the rivets. I had planned on weathering the E-11 but never got around to it. I finished it a little before I got my armor and got occupied with that. Added to my to do list. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  20. Looking at my pics I wasn't entirely satisfied with the front on shot. My belt was a little low and shoulder bell a little twisted. Here is a better picture as well as bucket off shot. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
