  1. Thanks guys. Got them on eBay. I think I will go with option 2. It will fit the cup thing at the bottom better. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. Awesome! You got this. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. OK my last 2 boxes came in today. So here is my question, which looks better option 1 or 2? I think 2 look better to me. Option 1 Option 2 Next up I will start the greeblies that go on the boxes, just need to get some spray paint. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. Latex hand guards are only a Centurion requirement.
  5. No I get that. The link you posted was to mondo posters not anything to do with chatter. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. Made a bit more progress on the rear sight holder. Carved out some of the shape. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. I believe you linked the wrong post Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. Next up is what I will call the rear sight holder, the piece at the end of the barrel that holds the rear sight. Couldn't find a piece big enough for the entire piece so we glued 3 pieces together and planed it smooth. Next we drilled out the center to fit the barrel and traced what needs to be cut to shape. 9. Wish it were that easy for me lol Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. Good looking build! Overall nicely done. Just a few things I see. The holster should be attached on the inside of the belt, not the outside. It looks like there can still be some return edge on the front of the forearms taken off. The screws on the TD should be painted black. Also your thighs might be a tad too long, especially in the back where it looks like the left one is overlapping the butt piece. Lastly you might want to put some foam at the top of your shin near the sniper plate so that it doesn't get stuck behind your thigh. I hope I did not come off harsh, just a few suggestions to get the armor to it's highest level. Great job on the armor, I would be proud to troop next to you. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah I think I will do that too with a speaker in the radio box. Still figuring it all out. Still deciding, but I think I will ultimately cut it at an angle. I got the boxes from eBay. I just looked for some that were around the sizes I needed. I know its not cannon/acceptable but I am thinking of adding LEDs to the "discs' on the radio box. I am still looking for the proper discs, but I think I can come up with a way to cover the LEDs for approval. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. 2 of my 4 boxes have come in, the radio box and the one to the right of that. Still debating if I should "angle" that right box like I see in some if the video game references. What's the consensus on that? I will be using some plastruct that I have left over from other projects to make the details like the vents, the radio box details, etc. I still to make a trip to the dollar store to get the rest if the pieces to complete it, but it moving in the right direction. 13. Very touching story. That's what it's all about, troopers helping troopers.
  14. I know you said you didn't want foam, but it really is the easiest solution. A couple pieces placed strategically and it won't spin anymore. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. Looked for some spare wood to use as the rear sight housing. Couldn't find any large enough so I glued 3 pieces together that will then be drilled out and sculpted for look. Getting close. Just a few more pieces to build, then add a few details before painting. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. I have a build thread for mine if you want to check it out. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/33426-Allan1313's-poor-man's-DLT-19-build Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  17. Looking good! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  18. Looking good man! Love the DLT. A few suggestion I can see are your shoulder bells should be rotated forward a little so there isn't so much black showing. Also the forearms should be rotated so that the little "box" details are facing away from the body, towards the back. Other than that you are looking sharp! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. I hear AM is pretty good. There are tons of threads with that armor. I would also suggest starting your own build thread so you can ask specific questions if needed. Good luck! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks guys! When I am ready to buy the pauldron I will most likely contact trooper1. It is a poor mans build so I went with some "sourced" parts. The cone tip on the DLT-19 came from a mouthwash bottle. Looking forward to my build Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  21. I recently got the Anovos armor and built that to Centurion. Was looking for a new project and came across the HWT. I was already in the process of building a DLT-19 so I figured I would add a pack to it and build this out. I am just at the beginning and have acquired a few pieces so far while more are in the mail. Here is what I have so far: My goal is to get this build to Centurion as well. 1 question I have is who makes the best pauldron? I have seen trooperbay, trooper1 (from MEPD), and katarra from etsy. Any opinions on those? Until next time.... Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  22. That is a very nice bag! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  23. So you finished your armor an need a bag for your helmet, but you don't want a plain old bag. Here is what I did to my bag: Let's see what the rest if you came up with! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  24. I think a member needs 5 posts in order to post in the sales forums. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  25. Usually you just need to tighten up the strapping a bit. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
