Little bit of an update. I was able to do a little work on it today. Following Astyanax's lead I modified the BOB with a bit of wire and solder to get the desired sound effect. First I modified the front pins: Next I connected the 2 squares on the side: Now as you can see, there is the desired sound and rapid fire. https://youtu.be/Bbj65Uom07Q After that I drilled the holes in the front two barrel sections. I also purchased some plastruct to try my hand as making my own T-tracks. More to come... -
As long as the rest of it is squared away I have no problem getting a new holster. It's just a little strange that they do stunt for everything except the holster.
-
So are they doing a hero bucket??
-
Too early??? They said they were still on target for shipping in 1 to 1.5 months!! Seems like they would have more details worked out. I am beginning to think they will not ship on time despite their recent newsletters. I hope I am wrong.

Well I was able to get some more done. I don't have a drill press so I have to wait for myself and my dad to be free so I can use his. I was able to do the 1-1/2" barrel end that goes onto the build a blaster. (I have not permanently attached it yet as I still need to modify the blasters sound) Next I did a little work on the muzzle end. I haven't attached the "cup" yet because I didn't have sandpaper to smooth out the inside. I have been using sanding blocks on the rest of the pvc so far. -

Very good. Will have to borrow my dad's soldering iron one of these days. -

I think you know what my plan will be...I saw your post about modifying the sound with a bit of solder. It looked great in your video, so I figured I would give that a go. Unless you have come up with something different since then. -

Got a little work done on the muzzle end with the assistance of a Barbie ruler a dremel. I cleaned it up a little after that with some sandpaper. Big thanks to Astyanax for all the blueprints and patterns. -

Well I am in the Anovos camp of waiting for my armor. To pass the time and get started on some things I already built an E-11 (check that out here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/32481-Allan1313's-Phoenix-Props-E11-build ) Now I want to give the DLT-19 a go. Astyanax and Ubernostrom's threads inspired me and have given some great guidance. So far I have I my gotten some pvc pipe parts and the build a blaster with butt stock. More to come.... -

Looks good. I was thinking of doing something similar. I had a pelican case that ended up be too small. It needs a good paint job and imperial logo -

When you get a chance can you send it to [email protected]? -
Well it is 99% done. The only thing left is to touch up the paint and weather it. But here is a video showing it completed with the electronics and folding stock in motion: Dday's kit is awesome, if you are looking for a nice kit check him out. Also a shout out to VulpX and Captain_Wordo for their build threads. Thanks for following along. Hit me up with any questions about my build.

Dday your tip was good. I borrowed my dad's heat gun. They are definitely improved and I will do some fine tuning. Other than that I am almost done. Added some more of the greebles. Once everything dries I will take a video showing the electronics and folding stock in action.
-
Thanks I will give that a shot.

So today was T-track day. I was able to do it, but not 100% satisfied. So I used the hot water method to bend the ends and then trimmed them to fit. Some are better than others and they are not all flush with the tube. I messed around for a few hours and could not get it perfect. I used some E600 to glue in the ends. Hopefully they look better to my eyes tomorrow.

You have inspired me. I am finishing up my E-11 right now, but after that I am doing this! -
It sure does! Here is a short video showing the lights and sounds before I put the folding stock on.
-
Next up was painting the handle gloss black, started with some primer. I also affixed the folding stock. The real stock adds a lot of weight to the pipe/resin build.
-
A new update came out. Molds will be made from aluminum and they are still on target for late November/early December.
-
So I have another update for today. Here are some in progress pictures of the electronics. Here is a picture showing where I placed the selector switch for laser/stun. I had to come up with something for the batteries (3×AAA). I got a cylindrical battery holder so I can place it in the tube and used some very flexible wires so I will be able to pull it out and replace the batteries when needed. This also shows the speaker held in place with an o-ring. After that did some drilling on the scope rail and scope. Throughout the process I hadn't painted the bolt since that's where the electronics were going, so I taped it off to paint that silver. More to come....

I think Walt is doing TIEs now. Look up Walt's trooper factory (WTF) on Facebook.

Wow.... -
Well it's been awhile since I updated my progress. I have finally gotten some time to work on it. I should have it completed in the not too distant future. Did a little work on the scope. I had some bubbles/pitting on some parts so I tried some green stuff for the first time. Next I hit the pieces with some primer. After that was some flat black. The last update I have is some assembly of parts. My next step is to paint the bolt and do final assembly. I am doing the bolt last as that is where all my electronics are at. Once I am all done I will do a video as well so you guys can see what how it turned out with lights, sounds, and a sterling folding stock.
