  1. Looks good Brian. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. I'm pretty sure they should be chrome or silver in color. Though I'm pretty sure this is never directly addressed in the CRL. These are mine. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. Awesome job and congrats trooper, glad I could help you in some way. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks Daniel I know they're not required, was just more curious if there is such a thing as too thin for them. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  5. So I kept thinking that it was my thought that was causing some occasional bite. But after a troop this past week I realized it is actually my cod that is the cause. How thin of a return edge a return edge is too thin? I'm in an ANOVOS kit if it matters. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  6. Precisely what I did and glad I did. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah that looks good fairly normal for some kits. Listen to Dan he knows a few things, especially when it comes to tube stripes. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  8. I've watched those Dan. A bit painful on the quality, but you look good doing it Dan. LOL! Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah each of the OT frowns are different. ANH grey teeth, ESB black teeth and ROTJ the entire frown is black, as you have them now. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks Glen. I still need to make a folder for reference photos. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  11. The build looks good. Question on the frown paint though. Are you going ANH or ESB? If ANH you'll want to clean up the "lip" area as only the teeth should be painted. If you're going ESB the paint needs to be black and not grey. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  12. I would start with Tony's Ukswraith anovos build thread. Joseph would be a good one on the pack as he is also a HWT trooper. Though most of the packs I think are found over on M.E.P.D. but I think one of the pack builders is here on FISD. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  13. Congrats and welcome to EI James. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  14. That's my plan. Keep it shiny and then modify as I go and my kit weather's and ages. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah typically TK's are clean. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks Tony and yeah it is sort of funny as their intended purpose would indicate that yes it is indeed a bib. LOL! Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  17. Ah man box day is awesome. So far looking like a pretty good start. Now if you were to ask certain people about return edges they might tell you its evil and shouldn't exist. LOL! Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah I have some left over material from my adventures in making a neck seal so I'm gonna try for a pauldron. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  19. Gonna try this thing and see what happens and how well I do with it. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  20. You can also use a petroleum jelly like vasoline and coat it wrap it up and let sit over night or longer and then clean it up. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  21. Well where it is sitting at now. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  22. Imperial Boots are good, but check to see if they are doing a run of them. https://www.imperialboots.com Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  23. One thing I would say from a quick cursory look is add a bit of upolstery foam to the left shin. It will help keep it in place and kick out the sniper plate so it doesn't get caught up on the thigh. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  24. Great news and that is a nice looking DLT there. I need to be able to work on mine. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  25. Awesome news man. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
