On a positive note it's what we call battle damage! That said, if someone is producing an ABS version of this kit (without visible assembly joints) then most of your concerns seen in this kit will disappear. Lastly regarding this kit, if you'd pro painted it 85% of your paint issues would not exist, but then again that would have tacked on an additional $1K to the over all cost
