FWIW, Tandy are not the best. Quite a few people using Tandy are definitely doubling up.

I have several costumes. If you use quality snaps you shouldn't have any issues using single. If you think you're going to have issues for some reason then double up. Option is yours.

Just roll the bend out a smidgen so the button is facing straight up or outward abit then polish the metal with scotch brite and you should be golden.

Looking good Sean. I suggest when finished trim the cover strips back to the armor's edge for a number of reasons.

Because if you needed to repair something gluing them would make the repair process that much more involved. 2 cents
