  1. Congratulations Wayne welcome to Centurion, excellent job
  2. Congratulations A.J fantastic job and welcome to the Centurion
  3. Hey Rob welcome to the FISD, great to see another FOTK joining the ranks. Looks like you've been given some advice so far. I think you'll like the ABS version of the armor, a little bit more complex to build but worth it in my opinion. There's quite a few post and present build threads you can follow not to mention many experienced builders here to help, so you're in good hands here. As for paint, myself as well as a few other owners went with the more expensive professional paint route for durability and overall look. This is not mandatory by any means, just another option. If you're interested to know more let us know. Anyway, looking forward to your build
  4. Congratulation Eddie welcome to Expert Infantry
  5. Looking forward to seeing what you receive
  6. I have a 3D print version of Germain's files. I dropped it 3' last week onto carpet. I thought it was pretty sturdy until it shattered into pieces, major damage, SUX! As Germain mentioned it's awkward compared to it's smaller brother so be careful. If you 3D print, if you can use robust materials.
  7. Clint is the only person I/m aware of that documented a Heavy Gunner cannon build
  8. Thanks for the additional Germain. I knew he made some props but wasn't aware he made costumes
  9. My pleasure John THT, looking forward to seeing you at L3
  10. Congratulations Mario welcome to Expert Infantry
  11. Congratulations John welcome to Expert Infantry
  12. Once you add the under suit, gloves and the connecting material between the bicep and forearm you may not need to reduce the overall size. If it's that much of a burden than I suggest adding fabric foam to the interior for stability instead. You want breathing room. Shortening the forearm as you've illustrated is ok.
  13. To add to the story, I believe I'm correct is stating this but Wayne is only a middle man. He buys the costumes and related goods packages them into full kits then resells them.
  14. Hey Carmeron welcome to the FISD
  15. Hey Derek if you're referring to where the ends of the cloth belt meet it's vercro . Thanks for the kudos
  16. It's wonky like the rest of the armor . Unless it prevents correct fitment I'd leave it.
  17. This is very common. To answer your question there is no requirement stated in the CRL however, you don't want to take off too much because it might make your forearms look too small. I would use a photo editor and or draws lines to illustrate where you intend to cut and post them for us to see. From there we can give you better advice
  18. I'm following but I can't help you with the paint.
  19. Nice job on the lens
  20. Yea doubling the elastic helps a great deal also
  21. Ditch the elastic for nylon webbing and make sure the bells are right on the white shoulder strap
  22. In my most accurate costume screen accurate bra hooks, with most others velcro
