  1. I'm 6' and had to pull everything up to get the back to fit correctly. I swear the ATA was designed for someone 5'10", it looks small on me.
  2. Well besides what was mentioned here I called a couple plastic and body shops. For ABS or equivalent plastics Devcon Plastic Welder II for bonding and Evercoat Poly-Flex Flexible Polyester glazing putty for the filler are the best on the market. With that said we'll see how they work. I elected to purchase the following off Amazon: Devcon Plastic Welder II - P/N 14340, 47ml cartridge (x2) (less waste, easier and cleaner to apply then the standard store sizes) Devcon Mark 5 gun - P/N 230-14280 Devcon mixing tips - 10 pack, P/N ? Evercoat Poly-Flex Flexible Polyester glazing putty, 30oz P/N 411 ( have some automotive repairs to do also, this will be perfect) Once the goodies arrive I'll post my experiences on my build thread. Thank you all for your feedback.

  4. Hey Krista and David thank you very much for the info. Looks like the jury for "How to properly assemble TFA armor" is still out to lunch. Good thing I'm in no rush.
  5. Very Nice build Tim, should be a easy EIB, good luck As for suggestions, Though the following won't effect EIB they will give your armor a cleaner more polished look. 1) Trim back your cover strips that are overlapping. Trip to the edge of your armor. Same with your thermal detonator, there's some return edge material that could stand being removed, again for a cleaner look. 2) Your belt is covering your lower ab buttons, it needs to sit below them.
  6. So I learned today E6000 is NOT recommended for the TFA build because it flexes and may cause bondo work to crack. I see a few builders using E6000 but I don't see anyone discouraging it. CA glue or similar is the glue of choice from what I hear. Again, why isn't that being emphasized?
  7. That's the positive way to look at it
  8. Hey Josh not to be a downer but I'm pretty sure the tube strips are only supposed to be a pencil width away from the vertical section of the face. You might want to contact Gazmosis on the EIB or Centurion threads for confirmation. Here's mine...
  9. Well your TK ID was there, with that you can apply to EIB. Not trying to rush you or anything lol TK 31689
  10. Tim I would suggest starting a EIB request thread. There your piers and gazmosis can also critique and give you advice what to do. Kill two birds with one stone. Great job
  11. Thanks for your review of the gloves Ruark
  12. You're a better man than me, I paid someone to do my Centurion helmet, I'll admit it, I have no shame. So you're going for the canon innards but are you using the proper snaps? Got ya thinking?
  13. We won't know until they go into full production later in the year or the next.
  14. Yes, the only thing that has changed is the fact you're holding a different gun. Good luck on your approval. BTW when will you be submitting for EIB.
