  1. What's more interesting it looks like the trooper in the classic TK ad is holding a hyperfirm edit: BTW, where this droopydoo E-11 blaster kit you're referring to?
  2. Hey Sarah, all my armor use internal cover strips, though not needed it does give the armor a cleaner look. I typically use material removed from trimming for the inner, (dull side up) but also buy extra cover strip material from a armor manufacturer if needed. Here's a build I'm doing for a fellow garrison member. Note the internal cover strip installation. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31920-ukswraths-am-10-ata-bucket-build/
  3. I always thought it was bad lighting in the previous picture anyway. Nice looking bucket edit: Looks like the Hovie tips will need to be updated, not white in the center from what I can see,
  4. For starters turn thigh edge towards the front of the armor so that the seem aligns with the shin seem (cover strip). Here's a pic, you'll get the idea of alignment.
  5. New recruit for the GGG.
  6. Yes you can I did it earlier for a fellow garrison member
  7. Obviously I didn't look on the 501st thoroughly. Thanks Mathias
  8. Heck I have a pair of first gen Imperials boots I've been itching to tarnish. Perfect timing
  9. Too bad there's not a CRL for them, yet. Maybe with enough presence that my change.
  10. Um, it's black, menacing looking, I'm too short to be a Vader and I've always wanted one. edit: One more thing, it's only $375
  11. Couldn't resist. DANG IT! Oh well what's another $400. It's only money right?
  12. Ohhh shadow trooper, tempting!
  13. That is odd, mine works excellent and is pretty loud. When it first starts up does it say "romfx". That's an indication that's initiating. From there you can program multiple options, static burst, when it starts to broadcast, etc, etc. You're using it with my speakers right?
  14. Starts tonight I believe, Preview night
  15. Is that you in the app ad Michael?
  16. Wow for a joblesspunk you sure have nice things in that room...lol As for your list: Required: 1 - Adjust Forearms so they are not as large around. [GGG] NOT REQUIRED, suggested 2 - Fix belt location on ab plate [C] Required 3 - Tone down the gold on Blaster [C] Required Suggested: 1 - Adjust thigh garter to lower thighs [GGG] I personally think they're fine where they are. If they're aligned with the ab and don't pinch your groin I would leave them as is. Choice is yours 2 - Trim length of cover strips on some parts [C] Highly recommended Great job Tim
  17. Just an FYI however, minor variations won't kill an approval. Cover strip widths: 15 mm for the arms 20 mm for front of legs 20 mm for back of thighs 25 mm for back of shins
  18. I totally agree with you Steve. It's hard to imagine them going through so much trouble, fabricated story, etc, etc just to sell a thousand or so suits just to have it blow up in their face. Wouldn't make much sense.
  19. To be honest I can care less if they told us it was recast from something else, $350 was a sweet deal. Just saying I would be disappointed to learn it's all BS.
  20. Misunderstood your point. Well let's hope they're on the up & up. I'm currently passing up an opportunity for ATA only because I didn't want brown boxes stacked around my house. If ANOVOS has been lying to us it would be a major disservice to the 501st and discredit to themselves. Trying to stay positive thorough it all
  21. You're technically not 501st until you have approved armor anyways, correct? Are we missing something?
  22. My point being, regardless of who has the license if everyone in the legion believed ANOVOS were being shenanigans and decided to request their money back what do you think that would do to the company, financially?
