  1. AM armor is probably the closest to FX but more screen accurate. [email protected]
  2. They don't have to be perfect, just close
  3. Also, if you're still having issues, adding the bracket helps aim the fans vertical or upwards.
  4. And my fans are aimed up the side of my face being my eyes dry out quickly.
  5. I'm banking on them being cloth or cloth like material. God help us if they were rubber, again.
  6. Great work Vince
  7. ah hahaha
  8. Joy killer
  9. Take a look at Walter's thread. He did a lot of shim work and he's a Centurion http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26001-haribon72s-anh-stormtrooper-ne-hero-build/
  10. Good point. Do as I say not as I do
  11. I took over for the day lol
  12. Let's go for a ride
  13. I'm not advocating troopers wear their armor while driving for safety reasons. That said, I can, without the bucket of course.
  14. HI Sarah. Welcome and thank you for your EI application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted including the fish, nice touch . Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper and excellent job on your armor! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few very minor suggestions, none of which will hold you back from that EI badge. 1) Shoulder bells is the back could use a little adjustment, evenly spacing the gap between the chest and back plates will balance out your armor. Reference photo 2) Rotate the right forearm inward aligning the front cover strips, also raise it slightly so the gap between it and the bicep are equal between the left and right sides and finally, you might want to trip the front cover strips nearest your elbow to help prevent them from digging into your arm. 3) Butt plate could stand to be tucked in, above the thighs as ______ mentioned. 3) Thermal Detonator clips could stand to be curved just below the face plate, above the screws. They appear to stick straight out which you run the risk of snagging them on something. It's not bad, just a little tweak. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. The only area in question, and very minor at that, ensure all the return edge is gone from the wrist side of your forearms. Reference photo Again, very nice job on your build and congratulations, We hope to see you at Centurion.
  15. Use the screws and nuts from the kit
  16. Contact Darren Mr Nostripes himself http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20859-accurate-anh-stormtrooper-strapping-brackets-v-20-now-available/
  17. Is this Jimmi? I'm not aware of anyone else even remotely close to completion.
  18. Hey Sarah, thanks for your patience, Sly or myself will be with your shortly.
  19. What's interesting are the bicep details that have been updated for screen accuracy. They look like how myself and a few others had updated theirs last year. You're welcome Anovos
  20. Is the actual pack actually black or a dirty green?
  21. Good point. FX armor is still 501st approved, minus the helmet. The non-FX helmets being used are most likely 501st approved also. This combination is very common, I even have set of FX armor with ATA helmet. The black series helmet is designed after the Rogue One movie armor which is also considerably different than the classic OTTK widely seen today. Until that particular armor becomes available and approved by the 501st, wearing it in public for official troops would be questionable. Disney and Lucas are very strict when it comes to being in public with their intellectual property. They want everyone to look a certain way. I'm sorry if I come across as a joy killer, it's not my intention. Bottom line, if you're asking if it's ok to troop with the Black series helmet, you might want to ask your garrison GML first.
