  1. Almost there Vince, keep up the good work
  2. Wow thanks for the Kudos Robert, glad to be of service. I'm just another SW fan who loves to give back. Pay it forward.
  3. Photobucket is current having issues. Hopefully they'll be back shortly
  4. Waiting for photobucket to get their stuff together so the regularly scheduled app reviews can resume.
  5. Hey Adam, Christian is correct we need photos of the following: The right side and the "D" of your blaster Back of the Thermal Detonator Neck seal Outside of the cod and posterior plates Close up of the ab buttons Waist belt assembly, armor side. Also the Cod and butt snaps from the outside of the armour Thank brother
  6. I love this thread, not because I created it but to see so many awesome interior designs. It's just a matter of time before we have a state of the art yet cost effective electrical system for our helmets, and trust me I've been looking. Thank you to all that have contributed, please keep the ideas coming.
  7. Hey Harald, thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Thank you for making the suggested updates. Your armor displays all the Centurion required components. Sly and myself would like to congratulate and welcome you to the Centurion level. Excellent work Harald Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: When you have some time we still highly recommend you change out the hovi tip screens, for accuracy sake. Now get out there and make the Empire proud
  8. As Ian stated "Superb" work on this thread, great job everyone On another note, and not to be a negative Nancy here but the armor used R1 is a bit different than the OTTK regardless of how similar they look. The backpack is an extension of the R1 armor and if the backpack is accurate you would expect the armor to be also. The fans may not know the difference however, LFL and Disney will, and will be watching. Will they care? not sure, though with LFL and Disney screen accuracy is everything. Please confirm with your local garrison if it is appropriate and acceptable to wear your OTTK costume with the R1 backpack at any premiere events. Just a thought. Carry on
  9. Wow this app has turned into a DO kudos fest lol. Alright Robert, thank you for your Centurion application. Let's get you approved. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: As Gaz stated "Stunning". IMHO this has to be one of the best looking Anovos armors so far. Maybe even better than a Centurion build I did for a fellow garrison member . Besides the build itself it fits you very well and looks fantastic. Very nice work. We're proud to say your armor meets all the Centurion requirements. Sly and myself and would like to congratulate and welcome you to the Centurion level The 501st has another elite Stormtrooper in its ranks. Now get out there and make us all proud.
  10. Here's another tutorial from a fellow garrison member http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26919-my-first-esb-tk-build-mtk/?p=341132

  12. As for the boiling water technique. I suggest you install some inner cover strips first and let cure for a few days, if using E6000. This will help prevent the seams from popping open as the glue will naturally soften during the process.
  13. Hey Robert sorry to hear about your dilemma brother. Sounds like reopening the armor connections and adding a shim is your best bet. If you do it correctly you might be able to the gain enough space and yet keep the same outer cover strip. Just a thought.
  14. Hey Jose thank you for your EIB application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present and your armor displays all the elements required for Level 2 Badge. Congratulations and welcome to Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by us and your fellow troopers. Suggestions made here are to improve the overall look of your armor. If these suggestions would effect an application they will be mentioned in the above or below sections. We have a couple areas we think could use some improvement. One being your biceps and shoulder bells. Your biceps are twisted outward enough causing a misalignment of them and the forearms. The cover strips should be facing forward. Yours aren't too bad however, it's causing the lower return edge of your shoulder bells to pop out also. Turing the biceps inward and maybe tightening the lower bell straps should bring things back into alignment. They should look more like this Another area is your butt plate, it should reside below the kidney. This may be a simple strap adjustment. Reference photo A couple areas we weren't sure about were the back of your legs and the TD screws. The back of the legs have been trimmed out for movement which is perfectly acceptable but the uniformity of the trimming between sections appears to be uneven. Maybe it's just a photo issue. If not we're suggesting you trim the sections and give them a more uniform look. As for the TD screws they should be pan head (flat) slot screws, your's appear to be domed (cone) shaped. Reference photo Lastly, your blaster "D" ring appears to be incorrect. Yours is definitely "D" shaped but it should be more oval. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this are we try to prepare you for Centurion. Though we don't anticipate any required changes, if we did we would post them here. That said, hope to see you at Centurion and congratulations again.
  15. Hey Mark, welcome to your EIB application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Beautiful job on your build trooper. Your armor displays all the elements required for Level 2 CRL. Congratulations and welcome to Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by us and your fellow troopers. Suggestions made here are to improve the overall look of your armor .If these suggestions would effect an application they will be mentioned in the above or below sections. A couple minor things, we suggest you bring your thighs up a bit to reduce the upper gap, and watch the kidney to ab gap you appear to be about at the limit of 1/2". That's about it. Centurion Suggestions: In this area we try to prepare you for Centurion. Any needed corrections will be posted here. After careful review it has been determined your armor is made with overlap construction. Though there's been attempt in some areas to make it butt and joint, a requirement for Centurion, there are other areas that do not meet the CRL requirement. For level three certification (if applicable): Overlap construction is not allowed. If you choose to make the necessary repairs please submit the pictures at the time of your Centurion application. On another note you have a beautiful set of armor, wear it proudly
